What is Shanthunu's Motive?

Though he claims that he has lived his entire life in Malaysia he knows too much about RaDEv and the cultural pattern in India. And also he knows about Radhika's likes and dislikes, that Dev was once with Vishaka, that Vishaka is 'in love' with Dev and wants to go back to him and moreover, he knows a regular priest from Radhika's home town!

He creates a situation in which RaDev are trapped and then talks about a wife who is a look-a-like of Radhika. The very next day he tells Mirnalini that he is not going to trouble Radev and now he is at PB without an invitation and goes direct to Radhika, making her uncomfortable. And finally he gives his eerie looks when the priest comments as to how to challenge the RP.

He knows that the RaDev relationship is so strong and it is very difficult to break. And he also knows that by challenging them he is not going to get anywhere. This is what our witch Vishaka and her polka-dots grandma do not understand. So he gets hold of the weak point of the two and executes his plan. He creates all the havoc possible through these two while he stays in RaDev's good books. As I feel he is a really crafty individual!

As far as I believe, Shanthunu is still acting his drama and he never had a wife who was a look-a-like of Radhika. He must be a business tycoon, yet not who has been in Malaysia his entire life. He must have known or seen Radhika and must have fallen in love with her and now wants her back. Or he must have some connection with the Purohith's and wants to claim the RP title. (I won't say that he is an illegitimate child of Dev's father but must be his mother was in love with Dev's father at one point and must have left her for some reason and he thinks that he should take revenge or something similar)

Anyway, I like if it is Vishaka who sits for the pooja tomorrow and if Shanthunu challenges Dev regarding his RP title! Not for anything else but because both Shanthunu's and Vishaka's plans are going to flop. As the pooja is not done with Dev's wife Shanthunu's motive is going to fail. And as for the witch and frog face Shanthunu is going to ruin the show! I would love to see their faces tomorrow!!! It would be worth all the trouble and torture we've been put through!!!

He is the real twist in the tale. I mean, we know all about Vishamma, Mrinu and her jokers, but S is the only character who is a mystery. How the Creatives want to play him is also a suspense still.

About knowing about Vish, etc is easy - Mrinu would have briefed him the entire story before Malaysia.

But the Creatives are keeping us in suspense about his motives so far.

I hope he turns out to be a positive character as I do really like Hiten, but you never know with the Creatives.

RaDev_forever, I pretty much agree with everything you posted. I also do not believe that Shantanu ever had a wife named Radha. I think all those photos in his house are of Radhika taken in Malaysia and other instances where he has been watching her and secretly photographing her. Notice how there wasn't a single photo of Shantanu and "Radha" together or a marriage photo of them. Dev was probably too stunned and emotionally affected by Shantanu's story of losing his wife to take a close enough look at the photos and realize it's his Radhika and not a look-alike. Shantanu is simply lying about everything to get Dev in his good books and then pounce when Dev's guard is completely down. I believe he has some connection to the PF and is after Dev's RP status. Probably that was his original goal, but when he saw Radhika for the first time, he became infatuated with her and thus decided to steal her away from Dev as well.

I agree with your points Radev_forever he knows too much about the Purohiths and VR. What ever his plans were or are I feel that Mr S will end up helping Radev. Hope Mr S does not disappear again after tomorrow.

That's true, Shantanu knows everything about Radika and Purohit family.
If he is married with Radha,he should has at least one pic with his wife Radha.
He put all the radha pictures on the wall not only one pic. of him and his wife radha.
may be Mri...gave him all the radika pictures.
I do believe he has no wife .he is just pretending.
Shantanu is a big suspence till now.
He will has to bow down in front of divine love of Dev and Radika.
all the plans made by vi..,amma and Shantanu will be flow in the water.
Radika will be sit in this pooja with Dev. she is a real ardhagani of Dev.
