Almost all of us are so engrossed in the outcome of the show and we are busy grading things in black and white. AR is good, SR is bad, or SR is good and AR is bad. We want the DMG team to show us what we want and not what they are keeping in store for us. Our egos are pushing us in different directions. We need to stop for a moment and think, we are the audience who needs to appreciate / praise the efforts of those who are working hard to provide entertainment for us. Instead, we are fighting our war of egos. Its high time that we appreciate their skills too.

One of them is Jennifer Winget. Mostly people admire and love her for her beauty. This is the feedback you come across on youtube and other forums. If crushes could kill she'd be dead long time back its probably the love of her fans that is keeping her alive. But is this all about her?

Jennifer as a person, I can't say much and will not comment on anything because that is something personal to her. In her interviews she is adorable and charming. In her real life she will finally end up according to the choices she will make and we cannot do anything about it. What we can do is talk about her acting skills (and not the logic in the storyline) with respect to DMG.

She has started to shine once she came back to the show and the entire story started to revolve around her. She was lucky to have the entire canvas to herself and very intelligently availed this opportunity. She must have thoroughly understood her new role because she has maintained her continuity. First her interaction with Sid. She came back and was possibly filled with anger of rejection from Armaan and she was angry with everyone. And she very nicely aired it out on Sid. The anger, bitterness, sarcasm in her tone, and dialogue delivery was excellent.

Then once she discovers that she was not told the truth about Armaan, she goes out in search of Armaan. Now in this segment she has acted differently. She successfully portrayed herself as a person who is desperate and who has lost her mind. At the sametime she also realises that Armaan loved her and sacrificed for her. Her tone changes completely and she is almost begging everyone to take her to Armaan and wants to fly to him and does not wait for anyone. She does not know what she is doing and where she is going (appeared senseless) and the Armaan was the only thing on her mind. Here again her acting was superb, if in the back of your mind you keep comparing with different artist even from the big screen and think of replacing her with them in that particular scene, you can easily see that there are not many who could do her job.

Then during the search Sid gets stabbed and her thinking about Sid fluctuates but still keeps the door closed. After she comes back not finding Armaan she declares a war against her father and Sid and blames Sid of raping her. This is the height of anger in a dejected state of mind where a person normally get into a nervous breakdown. Her performance till this point was excellent.

When she decides to marry Sid, she had suicide in my mind but Sid saves her. Now after her marriage with Sid she transforms into a quiet person who is fighting with herself. She wants to accept the fact that now she should love Sid and get settled in the new relationship, but her past is not letting her accept it. In this segment her performance was good but since she did not have enough dialogues, she mostly relied on her looks. The most remarkable scene was when she tells Sid that he matters to her and hugs him. Her palms are not fully open as she puts her hands around him as if from within inside she is still not fully ready to open herself to him.

The best thing I have noticed (other than the golden strapped sandals she wears in most of the scenes) she is very alert to the scene requirements and very agile (gemini trait!!) in changing her tone, eyes/smile and especially her body language to the scene requirements. She does not take anything casually. Which is a trait of a true professional. Although she is the Riddhima III but she justifies her selection with flying colors.

We should all thanks Jennifer Winget for her contribution to this show and entertaining us with her remarakable acting skills.

I would appreciate if anyone can add any good observations about her acting skills.

'She does not take anything casually'

Absolutely correct! She doesn't take her job lightly at all! She puts in so much effort in to her work that her acting becomes effortless. She is really intense like KSG hence they match each other perfectly!

Great post. All comments on Riddhima are like real life now coz Jenny has given that feel to her character. Well, I wasn't really watching DMG in between, but then she adapted very fast when she transitioned as Riddhima from Sukriti. And then the further incidents in DMG till AR were shot.
Now all the anger and frustration for Riddhima is flowing so freely is coz Jenny is portraying the split between her mind and her heart very well, she is sorta torn between Armaan and Siddhant.
Hmmm, I agree with you on the point that many of us are putting through our view points, but then thats general discussion and know that Creatives will drive DMG their way.

she certainly has added layers to Riddhima with her own personally touches, and yes, post her re-entry i somehow have found it easier to accept her...

well she did manage to create a set of fans along with another actor on the same show, when most people know she already belonged else where... now that i think is an achievement... even now, when she is confused between both the men, it doesnt look cheap or weird...

she has successfully managed to carry the baton of Riddhima forward, by making us hate her and in the process love her as well..

for a person like me, who couldnt see her as Riddhima for over a year, she has smootly slipped into the Riddhima garb, and i think, for an actor to get accepted and appreciated, though there is comparison and competition, for sure is an achievement! well done jennifer... all the best!!!

Wonderful post.I agree with you 100%. For me, Jen has been the best Ridz in terms of acting skills because as u said, she lives each scene as if she were the character herself.

Even the current scenes with Armaan are portrayed beautifully. When Armaan touches her or looks at her with loving eyes, her body language and eye expressions reveal her real emotions (i.e. of love for him), but when she averts her gaze from him or moves away from him, the anger in her expressions returns....she has portrayed this confusion very well....that between her heart and mind.

The credit goes to her and her understanding of the character. The reason we all bash and admire her so much is because of the real life like quality she brings to the character.
