What is wrong with this guy- Rishi ???baat baat pe Sumi pe gussa and now he has improved, baat baat pe thappad :( Poor Sumi, I guess she is paying for her mother's sins-- Saroj is ill-treating her bahu , i mean Radhika and here, Sumi is suffering in her sasural.

and this guy Rishi is getting really disgusting, he not only treats Sumi like a doormat but he doesnt have any regard for his mom as well. I guess, he has learnt from his father that wives should always be ill-treated and called ugly names and always insulted. That is Rishi's upbringing and here we have our Surya kamal giving atmost respect to his sauteli maa who infact, doesnt like him at all.

Anyway, the point is Sumi is a lovely girl and she is getting battered everyday. I cant imagine, do well-educated girls from good families tolerate wife bashing ? why cant Sumi speak up instead of always crying and forgiving Rishi. c'mon Sumi, u can handle this better. ATB !

Totally agree with you..Sumi should speak up instead of always crying and forgiving Rishi...agar wo rishi ko har baat mein maaf karti rahe gi to us ka b woi haal hoga jo rishi ki mother ka haii... i feel really sad for sumi

Exactly-and this was the girl who cudnt bear the thought of her sister(preeti) gettign married off to a un matchable guy(surya} had the guts to actually tell him 2 back off!!!Why not u girl?? whom are u afraid of???

agree with you all and poor sumi dosnt deserve this at all come on sumi stand up for yourself and dont be afraid of anyone. I rem that dilouge jaisi karni waisi bharni it suits the situation because what ever deed suroj is doing poor sumi is suffereing.

This beating is pathetic. Sumi should speak up. Her sasuma went through the same thing and she is quiet too.Both these ladies should leave and report to the police and put both father and son in jail😡

It's very sad - i was also disappointed to see that Preeti was encouraging her to stay in the marriage - that "koi vajah hogi"....there cannot be any reason to stay in an abusive marriage.
Sumi seems to have the strength of character to leave Rishi, but its sad to see that she might not have any support...

and the new promo again shows something similar ......my god, does Sumi have any role or is her role confined to getting slapped in each epi. Its getting unbearable now :(

Sumi and Preeti are not the girls from orthodox families. Why couldn't they open their mouths and and confide about the atmosphere in their in-laws's houses and their husbands's behaviour to their parents? Why are they so shy of telling about the real life styles at their sasural?

Why silently suffer and try to search good qualities in them which are remorse? What message does Rajshri productions convey through this serial? I think their saga continues for weeks together.

Sumi's mother should be given a tight slap on her face for her foul mouth at the time of death of such a pious woman like preeti's mother.

About Suryakamal's step mother, the less said the better.

Here everybody is crying always. We can watch this serial weekly once, I think. By it's pace, we can be sure that It is destined for atleast 10 years. Tthe characters will age along with us.

It is so disappointing for the bad treatment to such a lovely theme of the show.
