Hey guys!
It's been a heck of a long time since I've posted so I thought I'd make my comeback with a review of the some dramas that just ended at the end of the first quarter of 2010.

Hopefully, if you haven't seen all of these then this will give you a better idea.....if you have then share your reviews! I have been watching A LOT of dramas lately, so if you are itching to watch something then here's a list:

Pasta
4.5/5

If there was one drama I thoroughly enjoyed this year, then it was Pasta. The director did a great job in the unique way he filmed this drama, the background score was great and the best part about the drama was the lead chemistry!
Bad - Got a little draggy in between, plot was not super intricate so it was dull at some points
Good - CHEMISTRY...tons of it.

Stars Falling From the Sky (aka. Wish Upon a Star)
4/5

I can only describe this as a heartwarming family drama. I wouldn't say this was one of the best for me, but the dynamic characters (from gramps to the kiddies) was what made this drama too good to pass up. Not to mention Mr.Lawyer, who made the show more drool-worthy
Bad - evil villian lady (lovingly named "fish face" on viikii) drove me insane
Good - male lead is gorgeous, shin dong wook reminded me why I should watch "Soulmate" again

Smile, You
4/5

A really FUN drama to watch. I would say, and I've been reading complaints, that the drama is rather slow...well its only like that at the beginning. Trust me, once you hit the chemistry between the leads - its keeps getting better. This is a longer drama and thus, I would recommend it when you're really bored and in the mood for lots of episodes.
Bad -
really long, kinda draggy, cinematography is the same for majority of the drama
Good - lead chemistry is fantastic, LOTS of comedic moments that'll make you laugh out loud and CHUN HEE!!!

Don't Hesitate
1/5

I only give this drama a 1 out of 5 because of the male lead, who was pretty much the saving grace of this entire show. Definitely one of the worst shows I have possibly watched. From the female lead to the other man to the evil woman - every character in this drama has some kind of psychopathic disorder which nearly drove me insane while watching.
Bad - plot, character development, writers, director, female lead, male other, mother-in-law, secretary...everyone!
Good - male lead (because he's HOT)

Yamato Nadeshko Shichi Henge
4/5

You know, this wasn't such a bad drama. I began watching out of boredom, however I really got interested in it. For me, I think Kame did a great job and the female lead was a great actress. The plot could have developed more, but it was following a manga, so its understandable
Bad - too short?
Good - story and chemistry

Taddao Bussaya
4.5/5

Dubbed the Thai version of "Coffee Prince" (however the story is nothing like it, I promise), I didn't start watching this drama with any expectations, Punch is a relatively new female lead (n'ek) and Por, well his acting just plain annoys me HOWEVER I've got to say, this drama ROCKED. It's been a while since I've watched a good thai drama - the plot was fantastic, great chemistry between the leads and overall a fun drama to watch
Bad - not enough Por/Punch scenes
Good - storyline and acting!

The Substitute Bride

3/5

I'm always up for trying new dramas and The Substitute Bride was me first Filipino drama. I'm glad I chose to watch this drama as my first, I really liked it. I would recommend this if you're a mature watcher (so none of you young kids) because some of the scenes are a little..shall I say...risque? LOL nonetheless, a very "romantic" drama with the male lead being super cute.
Bad - too short (only 10 episodes!)
Good - story was fast paced, chemistry was good, loved that Filipino's use english mixed with tagalog in their dramas....

Well hope this helps some of you stuck trying to figure out what to watch, any drama is worth a shot...I even put up with 98 episodes of one....so goes to show, when you are boredom, kdramas will save the day!😆

I haven't had the time to watch any new dramas. I did manage to watch Pasta though. I get bored very easily. I end up skipping scenes episodes even the show as a whole. I have done it so many shows like BBF, princess hours, MNKSS, You're beautiful but Pasta surprisingly kept me hooked.

It was refreshing to watch a drama that was so light and fun!

I am wondering what drama I should watch next.😕

SS,
I have nearly watched all the same dramas ( except for the Thai one....still a little reluctant in touching them) ......but quit "Don't Hesitate" in between,.....became too much for me.......😕 I have just started watching Oh! My lady... its good uptill now but I guess after amazing taste of Pasta😃 I will probabaly measure most of the Dramas this year to its brilliant script and chemistry. In wish upon a star more than the male lead it was the child artist who played Pa Rang, who stole my heart.... he was so cute , so blunt.... one had to love him😛 he and hi8s undying devotion and loyalty to Lawyer Ahjussi
Prefangel..
. you can watch Wish Upon a Star or Oh! My lady... the male lead is hot... recommended at Dramabeans... Lee Min Ho's new drama - Personal Preference has also been given good reviews for its first 2 episodes.... so I am looking forward to watching it this weekend....

Pasta: Enjoyed it. For a Korean drama, it was nicely done. I am now weary of KDrama since they are becoming highly predictable and as you mentioned, its draggy.

Stars falling from the sky: I watched it because of male lead - Kim Ji Joon. I had seen him first in Love and Marriage (where he was a Lawyer!) and had liked the frankness in his acting. Loved the kids in the show.

Smile, you: Gave up after three episodes.

Don't Hesitate: Hopeless.

Yamato Nadeshiki Shichi Henge: Am a huge fan of the anime and the drama is totally off from the anime. The trick is to treat live action as something that is loosely based on Anime. Kame was amazing in this one. Oomasa Aya was shrilly but liked her when she was around Kame (mabushi! lol) The storyline has a defenitive closure when compared to anime or manga. I could not see Kame as Kyohei though. Maybe Jin? Or Jun? Still, loved watching this.

I watch only K and J Dramas and have not ventured out of this comfort zone.

However this season there were couple of fairly good shows (other than those mentioned above):

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Code Blue 2: Yamapi at his best. He looks older, mature and his flat voice delivers some of the most amazing lines of the series. Supported by Aragaki Yuki and Toda Erika, it was a serious drama and continues from Code Blue 1. I personally liked this drama the most during winter telecast because of the way it handled the emotions, personal life of doctors and the way it intervened and sometimes mirrored their patient's lives.

Bloody Monday 2: Watched because of Miura Haruma. He is talented and now, it shows. There was nothing fantastic this season which we haven't seen before, but it was still fun to watch.

Tokujo Kabachi: Sho Sakurai and Horikita Maki. They should never be paired again. Gave up after one and half episodes.

Hidarime Tantei EYE: I think there are still couple of episodes left. I am liking this one since I generally enjoy slow paced detective thrillers minus gadgets. Yamada Ryusuke (from Hey!Say!Jump!, yet another Johnny boy lol!) is the main lead and Yokoyama Yu (Kanjin8) is his brother and also antagonist. Its simple yet it works because of its simplicity. Okay, the whole left eye thing connected to brothers is little outrageous, but the mystery element was entertaining.

I've begun watching Personal Taste and it's good, I won't say amazing because I haven't felt the chemistry between the leads yet and the way is filmed can be a little draggy at times, however I'm going to keep watching because Lee Min Ho is undeniably cute and the story has begun to get more interesting...

Since a new "season" of dramas has begun, here's what I'm watching

Personal Taste
Cinderella's Sister
Happy & Love Forever
Down with Love
Dong Yi

I'll probably add a Jdorama in there once their seasons begin (personally waiting for Yankee Kun to Megane Chan to begin)

How is Cinderella's sister? I have not seen much talking about this series so was hesitant to watch even if the summary sounds very interesting and different.
