Mithun Da's opinion as the Grand Master....

I am confused about something......So Terrence and Shakti supporters love to use her POTD awards to support their opinions as to why Shakti is the best dancer on the show.....If that's the case then they surely would agree that Mithun Da is awesome at judging dance as he is the one solely incharge of giving POTD. So then why is it that the same Mithun Da is jeered by Terrence fans and mocked when he says anything positive about Dharmesh, Amrita, or Binny. I mean which is it, if Mithun Da is biased towards Geeta ki gang then why would he give all those POTD awards to Shakti? and if Mithun Da is not biased then why bash him and mock him as not knowing anything about dance when he praises Geeta and her contestants? 😃 To me it seems very comical when Terrence and Shakti fans jump up and down over their contestant winning POTD from Mithun Da and in the very next breath bash and mock Mithun Da as someone not qualified to judge a dance show when he praises Dharmesh sir, Amrita and Binny? 😊

Let's face it. Mithun doesn't know much about the technicalities involved in dancing at all.
Giving someone a POTD award isn't so hard, even I could do it. Usually the best performance is obvious as it tends to get the most praises and it doesn't take a genious to say which performance is the best.

Coming to your point about him favouring GKG, yeah I still do think he does but say for example on week 1 when Shakti-Amar did Khuda Jaane and they get amazing comments and then Mithun decides to give it to Binny, he knows people would be a little annoyed and ask questions.

But anyway, to finish off your sentence..

Mithun Da's opinion as Grand Master..does not matter to me at all.

first i used to think its a big deal about who he gives the potd, and i used to think, ohh this performance got it, so it must have been good, but as the show went on i realized he gives soooo many grand salutes and kya baats to practically everyone, so his opinion doesnt hold as much value to me, sometimes i agree with his judgement, sometimes not, but its nothing likr if he gives POTD to shakti then am happy or anything like tht

I do not know who is Mithunda supporting but his judgement is faulty particularly about the dance. When a dancer takes hiccuped steps, Mithunda say very smooth. He hardly makes any comment on detail of dance and when he makes that is full of flaws. He needs to read book on dance and watch video of different forms of dance to gain atleast theoretical knowledge about all dances like Terrence has theoretical knowledge of all forms of dances.

So then according to you Mithun Da doesn't know much about the "technicalities involved in dancing", so that means the POTD's which he in charge of judging and awarding are pretty meaningless, no? 😃

😃 I agree Sahana, it doesn't matter much who he gives the POTD too. And if it matters then it should also matter who he gives grand salutes too and who he has said his favorite contestant is. 😃 I mean we can't just pick and choose can we? If Mithun Da thought Shakti deserved all those POTD awards and we think he was being fair then, it would be logical then to believe he was also being fair when he said Dharmesh sir was his favorite contestant, no? 😃

IMO He gives the POTD to the performance getting the best comments, and the one most pleasing to the eyes.
He does not know the technicalities of the dance, and cant see the details, or understand them.

Did you not read my post or do you do this for some sort of entertainment I do not understand.
I clearly said that the POTD is not something where you need to know the technicalities of dance because most of the time even an average viewer will be able to tell you what the best performance was (based on judges comments).
