I liked Dharmesh's dance but still i felt that Amar, Shakti , Amrita and Jack ( now out) , Binny left their presence on the stage. There is no doubt that Dharmesh was on No.1 for three weeks for his dance. . Now he is 2nd.
Saturday, i felt GM while speaking to his parents, highlighted his parents hardwork and his hard life and how inspite of all that he has come to this level by his sheer determination and passion. Dharmesh is humble and a nice human being. GM was almost on tears while speaking to his parents.
He did not try for DD1 only because he could not speak English and low self esteem. When he started in DD 2 he was bit shy and reserved person. Gradually the mentors and GM encouraged him to come out of his inhibitions.Today he can understand simple Englsh and trying to speak as well. More courageous than before. He stuck to his Guru for 16 years.
Through this show he is desireous of getting a choreographer job in industry or in shows etc. get recognition and then come out of his poor status and make his father who sold tea on stations to give him some happy life.
All the other conetstants are educated and from well to do families. They have something to fall back on . ALL OF THEM ARE SURELY GOOD DANCERS and find their way if they want to get into choreography throguh contacts etc.
But Dharmesh needs a LIFT KARA DO.
I am fan of Amar and Shakti. I did vote for Dharmesh sometimes when i really liked his dances.

I thought it was too much sad story and drama unwarranted by GM giving little too much time to one contestant Dharmesh...
D is nice guy from nice family and all that...but I am not here to know anything personal abt any contestant...I am here to watch them dance...I like or dislike and support the talent...Nothing more or less...
I wish they don't bring drama to the show...It is an unneccessary emosanal atyaachaar on some IMHO....
Best wishes to Dharmesh..

Right i agree with you. But they have always done this and will continue to do so. They also try to promote certain contestants , and bring out their life that is the script of the show may be , ofcourse the contestant also have to be avery good dancers then only. Not otherwise certainly no one will vote.
We have no hand in it. We do vote for their performances only.

I think we should only focus on a person's performance while voting and not their personal story coz it is not in a person's control to which family they are born into. that is fate but how hard a person works is in their control and I believe that if a person is sincerely hardworking then they will surely reach places, they just need to be a little persistent =)

at the same time, I kinda don't mind contestants families coming on the show and sharing stuff. I know my voting decision will not be affected by it but I can't say the same for everyone =/

I so agree with Varsha di.. it was all un-necessary.. but since it was brought in..
I was almost in tears seeing his parents and him.. 😔
Mithun Daa shouldn't show such things.. in that case everyone should be given an air-time for family background like for an episode.. so that the universe is all in balance ! 😳 That would be fair enough !!

Right, we should not vote on their personal stories but by their dancing capabilities.
I think they tallk about all these just to bring out similar such people and motivate them who think since they are poor , cannot speak English etc. etc. can not participate in such competitions. So this is just shown to show that yes such people does come up in life. and others can take as an inspiration to move ahead in life.

No, not all the contestants are from well of families (Amar, Saajan, Kishore, Parvez) Dharmesh's family was the only one they made a big deal about.

😕 ummmm Amar's parents weren't given air time to tell us their story about how Amar made a miraculous recovery from a serious illness when he was a baby? Parvez's parent's financial situation was not shown to the audience? Kishore's story about his father abandoning them wasn't shown? Shakti's accident story wasn't shared with the audience? 😃 Isn't it a bit unfair to single out Dharmesh's parents and their story when all the contestants got the same air time to show us their "stories"?
