Honestly, what does EXTRA airtime do anyway? It is not making anyone that dislikes Dharmesh like him. In fact, people start targeting him and start saying it's unfair. Why does it have to be pointed out in such a way?

Please keep in mind, everyone had their airtime on stage with their family. Dharmesh just finally got it now since his parents came on the show. We had this already with Shakti, Kruti, Punit, Amar, Binny, Tashu, so forth and so on.

It's an entertainment show and I just feel all these unnecessary aspects should not affect us. No matter how much airtime anyone has, that should not be looked into. It doesn't seem like extra airtime is changing anyone's mind on who their favs are and are not. Let's all enjoy what's left of the show please. 😊 👏 ❤️

I liked the way you have written the post, Anjali 😳 I was touched too when GM told all this. Its a remarkable acheivement that Dharmesh has come this far and indeed deserves this opportunity. He even got a chance to mentor the kids now. I believe this show has given him a lot.
BUT, every family has a certain sad story. The only difference is that Dharmesh's story is known to everyone while some of their story will remain with them and will never come out into the open.

The sympathy card works well with indian junta and has often times played by Zee in different reality shows:-
1.Poonam Yadav in SRGMP 07--Working in a telephone booth story

2. Musarrat in SRGMP 0---Himesh used the dialogue "Mujhe mere ghar mein roti chaiye struggle nahi"

3. Mangesh in DID 1----Ma ko ghar dilaana hai. Mithun used to say this sentence every single time after his performances.

I am sorry, if I was in their situation I wouldnt want the entire nation to know about my economical condition and embarass my parents. I really get ticked off with this and do feel that some other contestants who do not have a sad storyand are talented, lose out. Which is not right. DO NOT TALK ABOUT PERSONAL LIFE. should be the agenda of this show!

It is a dance show and it should remain that way. There is no need to edit Judge's comments and give footage to the family drama. We have enough soaps that provide us with that. Thank you 😳

I guess all other contestants were also given air time to tell thier back ground like Shakti, Kishore, Parvez , so nothing harm in knowing about Dharmesh.. Mithun still shares little bits of his own struggle now n then..

Background story is essential to know about you fav contestants to connect with them.. it is part of almost all reality shows.. so don't make it a issue just because it is about Dharmesh.. it only takes few minutes of the programme, and it is better than watching Jay's antics..

was sad to know about Dharmesh.. I guess one day he wl become a known choreographer.. good luck to him..

Yes its very true that we always want to know about our favorite contestants beyond dance. But for showcasing these things Zee have a separate segments called DID Limelight. They can show all sob stories their.

Every contestants has such sad stories. I don't mind GM asking their parents about their childhood or about their love for dance etc etc. OK. GM highlighted that Dharmesh learnt dance under severe financial hardships. I am also OK with that. But What really bother me is that its not necessary to mention that whose father sells what in railway station?

Think about Dharmesh yaar! Every contestant have self respect. They can get embarrassed by this kind of exposure. We are all telling about D's story because it has been mentioned during audition, during limelight episode & again this time in the main episode itself.

I know one cannot cut down their emotion with the word GO. let everything happen in the stage. But they can be effectively handled by proper editing. Binny dancing with her father, a 11 minute English drama act ( yes !'m serious its 11 mins after B & D waltz), who selling what etc etc are never edited out, what edited out is the judges comment, which happens to be an integral part of the show.

Its also very disheartening to see GM's partiality in bringing about this sob stories. Binny's illness which was NOT so apparent became apparent in the eyes of GM but sadly he didn't notice the big bandage on Amar's eye! this biasness actually tells that this showcasing of sob stories are only for garnering votes (or we call it sympathy votes) for the contestants. Because if they have done this for showcasing the struggle of every dancer then there would have been no partiality.

@Its_Sash correct😊. very well said. shakti and vandu act was based on the story of 1 of the TLs student.he later came to know abt shakti's past.
dada didnt cared to ask bhawna after her performance ki ''kya baat hai? mera dil keh raha hai jaroor kuch gadbad hai" and all that.......
he never said to amars parents ki "main sab kuch jaanta hun, mai GM jo hun, sab cheezon ki khabar rakhta hun, mujhe pata hai ki sir ji nd bhabhi ji aap log kitni museebatain sah chuke hain *leaves the mike and says'oooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhh' ...............................(silence wid background music).....aapko main grand salute deta hun"
he never noticed the bandage on amars head.
binnys illness and D sir ka tragic past both were brought in conversation by dada.(cant help but noticing it)
