I really don't want to bash the show(s) or anything/anyone related to it, but to be honest I thought that this show will be different. It won't be a breakthrough in Indian television, but it will atleast bring about a needed change. I am a bit sad that I was under such a dillusion because looking at MJHT and similar shows, they started out amazingly.. pretty good.. but as usual took on a track of the never ending drama. Why is that every good show, with a few exceptions of course, on Indian television eventually submit to a very predictable and traditional track?!
Seriously guys, I don't want to bash MJHT but there was a time I loved watching the show.. it was such a chilled out show.. and now, with all the drama going on its a bit of a headache.. Of course everyone won't agree with that and I respect that opinion as well. It starts out as "educational" but at the end people fail to see the point.
And why do our shows lack common sense??? For example in today's episode the baby just walks out in a hallway FILLED with students.. and ofcourse only the Morena sisters lay eyes on the baby. Kyun?! Its as if no one else even cares about a baby being trampled by bunch of college going kids. Secondly, instead of finding it odd that a baby is on college campus and reporting it to the authorities, the girls go to find their parents. Padhai toh karni hi nai hai naa, babysitting seems more interesting.
Its like they take the most extreme and bizzare reaction a human can give during one situation and make it seem normal. Other instant was when bechaari Nupur got slapped atleassssssssst fiveee times by that rowdy guy, and Mayank's reaction was nothing. A smile. I know you feel proud sweety, but is that the first reaction that will come to you.. ??? Everyonee was smiling! Gunjan seemed more happy that Nupur reached the press conference instead of being happy that she reached there sound and safe. I might be wrong, but that's how I felt.
And even the whole Coma thing and the leg paralysis. A bullet in your shoulder/clavicle does not paralyze your legs! It wasn't even close to her spinal cord or brain. Atleast they could have hsown her hand paralyzed or something right?? Par nai, apne TV shows think woh kuch bhi phekenge aur hum maanenge. The whole walking thing was also a miracle.🤔
I really love MJHT and understand that the show runs thanks to the loyal viewers who keep hoping that the show they fell in love with will get back on track and show the people what they need to see. But I think its about time that the shows start showing some practicality in shows. A little over the top is fine, its a show after all, par hamesha? Fortunately I have seen a show that seems to get the point -- practicality and simplicity. I just hope it stays on track.
Sorry If i offended anyone.. I truly am. If you guys think different I will be more than happy to read your response and opinions. Instead of daily posts of how the CV's are doing bad and how people don't like the track, or how the track is amazing, I just wanted to have a healthy discussion about our shows and their future.
Please feel free to comment and do not take anything at heart, cause after all they are just shows. Do feel free to use examples of MJHT and other shows.
