How does the fact that he wants to find out who Ridhimma loves translate to him testing her? Poor guy. His wife's ex-lover turns up. The one she wanted to kill herself for on several occasions especially on the day of their wedding. And now all he wants to know is what Ridhimma really wants - Sid or Armaan. He wants to know who she is in love with now. I don't see anything wrong in trying to find an answer to this question. In fact I think it's noble because before Armaan turned up Rids had given him all indications of being in love with Sid and wanting a new beginning so he can't just walk out of this marriage straightaway and tell her to go back to Armaan knowing that she has feelings for him. If he didn't know how she felt about him, then sure. But things have changed now. I think he is at least man enough to let her make the decision. He wants to know what she wants and importantly wants that to be the decision maker in terms of where they go. All signs of a gentleman. He is making sure that it's right to let her go and fair on her to let her go. If she comes back, then she was always his - they don't say "marriages are made in heaven" for no reason . 😉

woh sab tho teek haina yaar!! par mujhe yeh aaccha nahi laga ki .. Arman ki madad kyon kar raha hain woh bhi Ridzy ke peeche!!!!!!! I dont want Ridzy to get pissed of at Sid for not discussing this with her!!! First of all she thinks, Armaan left her... and she'll jump into another conclusion... "AAp mere saath rehna nahi chahthe hain to pehle kyo kaha nahi??? I would have left you and gone!!!... I seriously dont want this to happen!!!

Directly or indirectly he is kinda testing Ridzy!!! which is totally o.k by me.. coz eitherways!!!!! I want SIDMA only!!!
In fact.. I so want the love to happen now. b/w Ridzy and Sid

For some reason I don't think this is testing at all. Testing is him wanting to see if she really loved him or not. But in this case, there is Armaan who she has had a long history with. And if Armaan turned up on their wedding day and Ridhimma had a choice then, Sid knows for certain that he would not have been her choice. but now that she has given him signs of feelings for him, he has little hope that perhaps she may choose him now, given the past few weeks. But he doesn't know that for sure. The only reason for this uncertainty is because he thinks Ridhimma's bond with Armaan was stronger. So if she had stronger feelings for Armaan now, it wouldn't make sense to force her into feeling something for him. So all he wants to know is where she stands in terms of the two men in her life, before he can make the next step in their relationship - let go or fight for her.

I think Sid is being amazing. Before he adopts either the "let go" or "i'll fight for her" strategy, he wants to determine if Ridz still feels something for him. He doesn't want to have Ridzy's pity if she doesn't feel anything for him.
I think he's being great!

Precisely. I think the fact that he respects her feelings comes through when he wants to determine where he feelings are right now.

Well Sid is not a slave to Ridz or Armaan, that he'd have to work hard 24x7 to make plans of their reunion.. I'd say, he should have never try this.. I mean sendin Ridz to meet Armaan.. She's his wife.. Sid can't treat his wife like that x(.. But he's doing that for her.. Whatever he is doing that's more than enough for these two.. Now he should just stop thinking abt others and start thinking abt his own wife.. and happiness.

Its nice to know that we have sidma discussions here.I have been most disappointed in finding almost everyone either bashing sid or refraining from discussing sidma.

Anyway-I kinda agree with you all.Sid is not testing Ridhima. He is giving her a free rein in deciding what she wants-whether she wants Sid or Armaan.I think that is the way it should be.If he just walks out or her life then Ridhima might feel cheated that she was never allowed to make the decision that decided her life.

Also why is he helping Arman?
He is not helping Arman-he is merely giving them a chance to talk.So that Ridhima can make a clear level headed decision rather than deciding something impulsively.

Absolutely! Well said. I don't think he's being completely selfless - he is helping Armaan because in doing so, he is taking Ridhimma closer to reality which in turn should help her make a decision. And walking out of it now could also allow Ridhimma to feel pity for him - that's not something he'd want. If she chooses him, he wants it to be because she loves him and not based on some sort of charitable cause!

I can't stop loving Sid. It's VERY HARD to let go of someone you love. He is not testing Rids. He is just making sure there is no confusion. When he gives her a chance, he eliminates all elements of doubt (maybe she didn't try).

He is helping Armaan coz he wants to give him a fair chance since Rids is not taking this step coz of their marriage. I won't call this testing or cheating.
