Is Vasu for real?!!

Ok, so in yesterdays epi, we see Aalekhs lamba chauda proclamation about his love for Sadhna and how his mum broke his trust and didnt see his pain.

So we have 18 minutes of the episode where the poor son is crying and feeling guilty that he let the love of his life down by getting separated from her etc.

Now, in the last two minutes of the epi, what does Vasu do?! She tells him, Sadhna can NEVER enter this house?! OMG, is she for real? For a sec, if we imagine that up to now, whatever Vasu was doing was because she was in the dark of how her son Aalekh really felt (after all, he has not really been vocal about how he felt for Sadhna up until yesterdays episode). But now, AFTER listening to her son grieve and cry his heart out in front of ALL Those people, she STILL tells him, that his wife can never enter the house?! Didn't she realize by then that by saying this, she actually risks losing her son for good?!

I mean I knew Vasu is essentially a grey character. If not all black. But I thought at the end of the day she was a mother who did somewhere care about her sons! Yes, she has ego and pride, granted! But even after hearing that heart felt confession from her son, how could her heart NOT MELT? I mean she has been grey- like I remember how she always opposed the Ragvir wedding. But when the thought of losing her sons came to her, and when Aalekh finally warmed upto her, she DID agree- showing that she might be a very bad person, but she did somewhere care for her sons. She did participate in the Ragvir wedding whole heartedly after all.

So my question is- do people like Vasu really exist?! I mean how exactly would you categorize someone like her? Is she all black? Grey?! Does she have a mums heart?!

I say after todays episode, it was highly idiotic of her (I am criticizing her action, not character), to tell Aalekh that Sadhna will never be accepted, AFTER she heard him say all that. If I were her,I would play my cards more nicely. Like, let Sadhna come into the house and then play new mind games with both my bahus and make their life hell. 😆 😆 😆 Muahahahaha (JK!!)

So what do you guys think?! Is the character Vasu for real?! 😆 😆 😆

Sadly, people like Vasu do exist! I know a few of them who have be hurtful to their own sons/husbands and in fact everyone they know. They are not identical, but so similar that you can not like them.
But they are rare (or at least I would like to think so). So be happy 😃

Wrt the serial, I think having enemies closer is a real good plot. But lets just wait and watch 😉

Mother inlaws in general (apart from a few gems) have this notion of 'divorce ur wife Ill find you a better one' lol - Me and my hubby have had that! Gladly we were much stronger to go by it (thank god)..

Ya M-I-L like VASU r exist in this earth. In fact i saw some M-I-L who r worse than VASU .

I think Vasu has become quite a tragic character. She is severing ties with her sons and STILL doesn't accept that she is at fault. She is simply blinded by her ego and her selfish ways will bring her demise. Vasu needs to wake up and accept that she has committed many mistakes!

After everything Alekh said regarding SAdhana and how she helped him and all that,she still had the nerve to say that Sadhana is responsible for all this!!!!!That shows she never understood what her sons wanted or more aptly never cared.
