The tree of discrimination and prejudice has its roots in the Ego.
Always trying to be different from the next guy, greed for power, politics, wealth and control.

Yes hope it can be abolished.
In fact the whole world should identify themselves as just human beings from the planet earth.
Forgetting all distinctions of race and religion etc would be preferred.

Sure there is discrimination. I want to say that most of the people have learned to overcome this problem and look past one's religion..but there still are people in India who discriminate very openly. For example, Abhijeet [the singer] always insults pakistanis such as atif aslam (but he may just be doing it because they're from pakistan, since abhijeet seems to be fine with SRK). But even if you look at IF..there are people who are still very negative and say things such as "muslims need to go to pakistan" It's crazy..😕

People are becoming intolerant with increase in terrorism. When there are terrorist attacks, people do get angry and say such things that muslims should go away etc which is very unfortunate. The reason why they say that because once the demand had been accepted and the country was created based on religion, so it angers people to see so much tamasha in the name of religion.

The point is so many muslims chose to stay back in India and today muslims are the second largest community, with so many people at the top in different domains like entertainment, sports, business, proves that their decision was right. However, there are problems here and there but overall things are good and can be improved further.

Abhijeet has issues with them because according to him some of them work in India without work visa and if that is the case then his complaint is valid. He doesn't have any issues with Indian muslims, he adopted those Toshi guys and likes many other singers like Raja Hasan etc.

What I don't understand that whenever there is a talk of muslims in India, why do people start talking about Pakland. People need to understand that Pak is a separate country. This topic is on religious discrimination in India. Are muslims (Indian muslims) discriminated in India and nothing to do with Pak.

Hmm I know what you mean..but I was referring to how some people think that Indian muslims need to go pakistan..when in truth..theyre indian. Some people actually feel that all muslims need to go to pakistan. But why should they..when theyre indian? I think the discrimination is not as extreme because of such great talents in the entertainment industry. Most of the people are quite tolerant..but, discrimination still does exist.
