I don't think Hiten is wasted. There is more to be revealed about him in future tracks so lets just sit and watch how the story unfolds.

I feel that because in today's episode he made couple of remakes which makes me think this.

I agree with Eva. I don't think a well-established actor like Hiten would accept a small fries role in a soap. Surely this character is going to stick around for a while and unearth some interesting information.

The character of Shantanu is keeping a lot of secrets. The way he spoke today, it seems like he has some hamdardi with Radhika because he too may have been abandoned by his parents. Maybe he is Dev's half brother or some relative of Purohits? Lets wait and see.

I remember in the article it was said that Hiten has a big role and will be there for a long time..Also, big truths of Purohit family will also come out...The entry of Hiten might eventually lead to revelation of the first marriage secret...
So I think he is not for a short period of time..

i think Hiten has a larger role and inadvertently mrin brought him in thinking he would go after rads. He will probably reveal some PB secrets. His motive does not seem to be only Rads
