Don't you all think that we should severely criticize the show for conveying all kinds of wrong messages and for repeatedly portraying women as weak and helpless?? The latest development leaves me utterly shocked and I wonder what I am doing watching all this crap which is bound to pollute younger and inexperienced minds and convey all kinds of wrong messages to society!! Ekta has revelled in doing much harm to society and has played a major role in coming in the way of a more progressive India and ironically precisely because of this, she has gone laughing all the way to the bank and got richer and fatter and uglier. How dare she weave in a so-called inevitable because of the shame and disrepute marriage between the hapless victim not even of rape but attempted and unsuccessful rape with the perpetrator of the crime, a most horrible and uncouth evil man?????? Well it has happened and we are taking even this lying down as if she had not already done enough harm elsewhere in general and in this serial in particular!! I wonder how a woman can be so insensitive as to portray such absurd developments on national television just for garnering TRPs. So is Vandu the guileless and innocent who was not even raped as she was courageous enough to run away in the nick of time so helpless that she had to agree to marrying her tormentor???? The girl who had the guts and honesty of lodging a police complaint against him doesn't have more nerve than this??? Just because they threaten to malign her family???? Come on guys what's with this never ending sacrificial woman thingie!! Please let's protest and put our foot down. Is this how society should continue to treat hapless victims who are women or let me put in in another way, is what is portrayed in the serial how these women are treated? Well I at least for one do PROTEST and protest loud and clear against the makers of this serial for doing the unthinkable. Padma

I completely agree with you. I live in US and I read the updates ahead of time then naturally watch the shows days afterwords as we are behind. But after reading todays update, I in protest would stop watching this show. That is our only way to show how disgusting this whole track is. We the viewers can not dictate what the story line should be but we have a right to say you give such disgusting and vile message via your show we choose not to watch it.

LET their TRPs go down the drain. Then they will get what we all believe.

Here the show is telling all young guys that if you want to marry a girl even if she does not give the time of the day, just declare that you raped her and then she will be forced to marry you.

Is getting married is the only option for girls to live in India. I thought women can study and develop a career and be independent.

Is EKTA Married. Would she like to marry like this?

STOP WATCHING THE SHOW.

Absolutely right. How dare they think it is ok for the rapist to marry the victim. No wonder women are still second class citizens.

Absolutely agree with you................. but Paddy this is hardly a new theme ! Colours channel is full of such digressives stories. Instead of taking audiences forward by showing some bold steps taken by the victim, they will further victimise the poor hapless woman into greater torture.

I think once before there was an attempt to set her right with social protests. They were unsuccessful then. Why should we bother to pay them any attention when they deserve none? Simplest way is to ignore them with out letting them the satisfaction of any controversy.

hve u guyz seen the ratings.....this is Kekta's way of competing wid IPL 🤪 BT soaps r full of nonsensical drama all in the name of entertainment....this is just one more ridiculous twist to catch eyeballs....nd believe it or not Yest' pathetic ep gave PR the top slot among all shows.

I am so with you on this one.. I am not liking what they are showing but how is going to convey this message to Ekta and her team.
Ekta being a woman, if she herself doesn't see this is wrong to show it to society then what others can do. She herself is a woman so she should look at in the mirror and ask herself a question, am I sending right message to younger generation.

if people look at back, not a single show of Ekta doesn't have any rape case. I don't know what is wrong with her that she is showing such things.
I am sure there are many people writing her each and every day but there is nothing going in her brain.

Is there a way to write to the show with complaints about the wrong messages they are sending to the audience? First they made a mockery of Archana and Manav's marriage by having him get engaged and put sindoor on another woman and now having Vandu marry her attacker. I am sick of watching women on this show face abuse, it shouldn't be tolerated at all! Both tracks need to come to an end, ASAP!
