Ajit marries Vandita, Vaishali to find a suitable boy in Pavitra Rishta

In a major twist to the tale of Pavitra Rishta, Ajit Lokhande will marry Manav's sister Vandita Deshmukh, who he had tried to molest earlier on the show. Ajit, who has never been on cordial terms and has never wished good for Archana's family is now after Manav's happiness as he landed up in jail because of the latter. He has been trying to malign Vandita ever since but will now end up marrying her. But this wouldn't be a change of heart for him, as he would marry her with the sole aim of inflicting more pain and sorrow on the family.

Informs a source from the show, "Ajit will marry Vandita but this wouldn't stop him from troubling Manav and his family. Ajit's mother would put forth a condition to Vandita saying that Ajit had done a favour by marrying her and so it's time for her to return the favour. Vandita will be asked to slap her brother Manav and sister-in-law Archana. She will slap her sister-in-law but will not be able to muster courage to slap her brother and will break down. On the other hand, the track of the show will soon shift towards Archana's youngest sister Vaishali and her love life. She will fall in love with a guy apparently from her college. Currently, the production house is auditioning for the actor to be paired with Vaishali."

When contacted, Pankaj Vishnu who plays Ajit said, "I can't comment on it as yet. Please keep watching the show."
