Now, a Kapoor man asks Deepika out for coffee

Age's no bar when it comes to admiring the gorgeous Deepika Padukone, and veteran actor Shammi Kapoor is proof of that. The actor (who's Ranbir Kapoor's grand uncle) joined Twitter a while back, and one of his recent messages was to Deepika. He tweeted, "Hi Deepika--would like you to communicate maybe could meet over a cup of coffee at my place--- love, Shammi uncle."

Now, isn't that sweet? Deepika didn't see the message immediately, but when she did, she thanked him immediately. And she was quite excited about meeting him for coffee.

Deepika's a huge fan of the actor. And like the rest of us, she remembers him singing 'Yahoo!' (and looking quite handsome) in the classic movie 'Junglee'. It's a mutual admiration society between the two really. Shammi Kapoor tweeted later to Deepika (after watching her performance at the IPL opening ceremony), "You were the best that IPL offered today----Love."
