Bollywood's most successful producer, Vidhu Vinod Chopra who's riding on the success of 3 Idiots, and Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan, who's received global accolades for his My Name is Khan, have buried the hatchet. They missed two opportunities in the past to work together after failing to first collaborate on Munnabhai MBBS and then on 3 Idiots. But, like it is said, then the time wasn't right.

Now these forces to reckon with are said to have had two closed door meetings on Vinod's new film Ferrari Ki Sawari. Sources say that SRK visited Vinod's bungalow some nights ago. And the actor and filmmaker bonded over drinks and dinner. Proof that all is well between these two also came when a smiling Vinod let the paparazzi click him as he entered SRK's party for international rapper Akon last week.

With Aamir Khan taking his own sweet time to deliberate on when he will combine forces with Vinod again, the trade suggests that the stage has been set for SRK and Vinod to make a film together. Guess it can't get bigger than this one!

Shah Rukh says yes to Vidhu Vinod

It's finally official. Former foes Shah Rukh Khan and Vidhu Vinod Chopra will finally work together in Vidhu's next production, Ferrari Ki Sawaari. The film is about a young boy whose dream to play cricket at Lords in England comes true, thanks to the Ferrari of a legendary cricketer. It will be directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, who has worked with Rajkumar Hirani for a long time.

Apparently, Vidhu had offered the film first to Aamir Khan, but Aamir refused as he wanted to concentrate on his several productions lined up to release this year.

Rumours had it that the two were not on friendly terms since Shah Rukh backed out of Vidhus' Munnabhai MBBS due to his back trouble. Before that, Vidhu had wanted Shah Rukh to star in Mission Impossible, but the King Khan didn't have the dates to spare. When Vidhu was casting for 3 idiots, he had apparently approached Shah Rukh but the King Khan again did not have the required dates. Their relationship further soured when Vidhu criticised Shah Rukh's Paheli. But when the two found themselves on the same side during the rift between multiplex owners and producers last year, they slowly became friends again and now it seems all izzz well with them.

But..don't VVC movies only work when Hirani is directing? I wanted SRK to work with Hirani. Without Hirani, VVC is blah.

Plus this movie sounds lame so far, lol.

Yeah^ I was a bit disappointed hirani isn't the director and for some reason story reminds me of Lagaan. Just waiting for Srk's confirmation now, plus don't like the movie title lol.

Finally...i was very upset wen SRK had to refuse Munnabhai b'coz of his operation...n then 3 idiots b'coz of ego clashes...however i wish and pray tat this film turns out to be gud...with Raju Hirani as the director but ofcourse...

umm plz srk i dont want you to do that movie atleast not for frienship sake. plz and plus i dont likle the name of the movie so plzz make rethink before doing it .
