i agree that CID doesnot need those stupid publicity that other drama serials need...but as a fan of CID i would like the news channels to cover CID shootings as well as they do for the drama serials or the reality shows...

every news channel has section for entertainment news..some specifically for television shows...but none of them ever visit the CID team...
shows like "saas bahu aur saazish" n many other on popular news channels( dnt remember names xactly) should try n visit the studios or places where CID episodes are shot...so that we get to c our favourite officers in their natural avatar!! i mean wats the environment like while shooting together...the real bond between the actors...
for xample, in case of the 111 minute episode, we r shown how the episode was shot n how the team prepared for the episode etc , after the case was solved...it was really nice to c them celebrating after the successful shooting of the entire episode...but dat was just for 1 episode...
can v not send suggestions to the various shows on news channels?plsss comment guys!!!

What I want is to see some of the 'behind the scene' stuff...at least a 5 min chat session with each of them, just talking about their long journey over the years.

I wanted at least that as part of the 12th year celebration...and all they showed was 10 seconds of their first day in CID.

Ya exactly...just a short session sharing their 1st experiences as a part of their 12 yr celebrations!!! How dissapointing! yes i mean those behind the scene" stuffs... i really like them. specially when its abt our favourite CID!!! as far as i know Aditya Srivastav(our dear ABhi) is quite restricted to himself.... even Vivek.
Daya n Shiv sir r more extrovert...but these r just my guesses or some sort of n idea i have growm abt them...but in reality wat sort of relationship they share is something i really wanna know..
after all 12 years have passes by..they have working together for sooo long..they must b like really close to each other by now!

If you ask me I like it just the way it is, infact earlier it was better. If you really think the beauty of CID is that we don't know much about the actors, just the characters with whom we relate so deeply. Can you recollect any character you hold so dearly after the DD Era? I personally hate Saas Bahu Sazish, and all those kind of trashy programs. Since CID completed 12 years its kind of come into the eyes of these people and we have started getting tidbits of upcoming episodes which I am not appreciative of. It was no business of that lady to tell what she is playing and why in the interview knowing fully well that CID is a detective series. I would like to see things first than knowing it all before hand. Soon there will be a time when they will tell us the full story including the climax like they do to all the movies even before their first shot is taken. CID Actors will becomes part of dirty gossip and trashy news. I don't want these news channels to keep hanging around their shooting locations. I would like them to work like they used to.

I know this way we wouldn't know much about the actors, but this mystery around them is what I find that very beautiful. I on purpose don't readup news items on CID for the same reason.

Actually I would have liked Fireworks team to do 5 minutes interviews with the principle cast where they tell about their experience like that 20 sec promo they showed as part of 12 year celebrations. That I would like to watch but no CID on Saas Bahu Aur Saazish. These reporters have no thoughtful questions to ask, they keep asking same rubbish. CID is still untouched by these gossip hungry news channels and I would like it to be that way.

It would be good if they release few clips of CID episodes making. That can give us a lil idea about the actors, fun during shooting the scenes n all.

There is another thought I had in mind I don't know if I will be able to put my thoughts well. I hope people understand what I am trying to say.

With publicity, cheap and dirty gossip are not far behind. They almost go hand in hand. Sometimes not knowing about the actor much is actually a good thing because once we start hearing about actors, how they are, what they are and unfortunately if they get linked to dirty cheap gossip, we start judging them for the kind of person they might be rather than their work. "Acting" due to which we noticed these people takes a complete backseat and we end up liking or disliking actors for everything other than acting. CID is one of the very few or should I say the only series whose actors are still shielded from this media craziness to a great extent.

Knowing actors through programs like Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai like the episode on Satam Sir is awesome, I want the makers to give something but not these news channels and more so these Hindi news channels.

i understand ur point prabhadi... n i totally agree... but wat i want is may b the producers of cid can release such behind the scenes stuffs... forget abt those news channels...
n m not saying all these literally for publicity..is just dat- at times i wud like to c the environment that these ppl shoot in...i mean as a team how they work...
v know CID shoots more in real locations than studios...then there r stunts performed by our officers...such things can b shown 'at times'.
for example in the gallantry awards v got a chance to c them in real! i mean a little different from CID on duty officers, etc..
but that shouldnt harm the essence of CID...there should always b a limit..i believe

I soo agree with you 👍🏼 Any kind of ugly rumour about my fav actor really upsets me and makes me lose interest in their show... your right it is better just the way it is... I can never stand any negative news about Daya or Aditya...
