Recently several of Pakistani players for penalized for different disliplinary actions

Mohammad Yousuf - Banned indefinitely to represent Pakistan in any format
Younus Khan - Banned indefinitely to represent Pakistan in any format

Shoaib Malik - Banned for one year to represent Pakistan in any format
Rana Naved - Banned for one year to represent Pakistan in any format

Shahid Afridi - Fined about 35K dollars
Umar Akmal - Fined about 35K dollars
Kamran Akmal - Fined about 35K dollars

Here are my questions

- If the punishments are adequate
- If the punishments are inadequate
- Why only players were penalized, don't you think the manager, and the coached should also be responsible

I believe that all these fines and bans are justified as they are representing a nation and should be responsible for their acts

the Ban seems quite long to me. I wonder if it is fair, unless the offences were very serious.

khaty bhai the punishments that pakistani team are getting are non-sense

its ordered from pak government so pcb took strong stance for minor misdeanors

now with the T20 World cup coming up what are pak going to do

to your question abt coaches heck yeah they shud be penalised too

cant they show some control and authority over the players to stop such things occurring

bottomline the fines are fair but banning is not and that too for so long

I do believe it was about time to take some action and they do deserve it - all these all they care about is money (there is no pride left), the whole cricket board, the selectors coaches and the players are involved in dirty politics - I don't think if its going to affect their T20 team, as is Younus and Yousuf are not fit for this format but they are going to miss Malik but he was out of form during the NZ and Australian series

Frankly Pakistan is a great country too,and it is in a mess now with so much bombings.
Hope all this can be cleaned up over time.

There are rumors that some of these players are involved in betting - I think they need to re-structure the whole organization.
