A very pleasant song by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.. you can just close your eyes while listening to it and just enjoy its rhythmic music and singing...
The starting is nice, subtle and slow.. the voice grows on gradually as the song captures the beat.. the low-notes are nice, however the true Rahat Sir magic is in the high-notes of this song..
The classical part singing of this song is just amazing.. The expression of the song is captured well.. the desperation of the lover can be heard in the voice.. the chorus has done a good part..
"Pehla Ye Waada Hum Ne Kiya Hai" is just a wonderful line of this song, sung beautifully.
I have vowed to be strict.. no flaw in singing.. just judging the expression of the singing from now on.. the expression picked up is well-portrayed here.. actually the passion is what makes this song more beautiful to listen to..esp the line "Ishq Maangay Ishq Chahay, Koi Tufaan.." So, based on that point of with-holding and capturing the listener with its sentiments, i would like to give this song a 10 on 10..
