Meeting Nihira - Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram

I am writing this, not be bashful, but to tell all of you what a wonderful person Nihira is. I started feeling for her from the time Daler called her arrogant and knew that Daler was completely misunderstanding her. I have met a lot of people in my life but very few are as simple, modest and talented as Nihira. She also has a very captivating smile.

As promised, I did go over to her place on a Sunday morning. Having gone to Des on a business trip, time was always a precious commodity. I spent real quality time with her, her Mom and Dad. Of course, I cannot discuss everything we talked about but please trust my judgment when I say: She is a great human being. She is very serious about her career and values inputs very much. She is studying at Mithibhai College in her second year – Arts. She is learning Spanish too. An early riser, she does riaz every day very early – very hard working. Also, noted that fame had not gone to her head. She is studying for her upcoming exams. SRGMP had put an extra load on her taking her away from her classes and college so there was a lot of make up to be done. When I asked her who she thought would win, she said: "They are all good – whoever sings well that day will win".

It was good she lost because winning would have bound her and capped her short term growth. Her family is very modest and had been seldomly monitoring the IF. I was very happy to have met her and her family. It was the highlight of my trip. I wish I could have spent more time in Mumbai. I have promised myself to stay in touch with such nice people and I am. If you met her you would agree with me that she is a great human being.

I welcome any comments that you may have - including those who believe I am making up this whole thing.....

Wow! you are so lucky! must be very exciting time for you. Even I want to meet Nihira. 👏 👏

We also think she is a very nice person. Looks like her mom is also very polished person.

Yaar tum Daler ki baaton ka bura maan gaye......bechara bacchpan mein sidhiyon se gir gaya tha, dimag ne tabhie kaam karna band kar diya, uske junglee kapde dekh kar tumhein ehsaas to hota hi hoga ki woh halkat hai.

i believe u supremi nihira is so angel like a beautiful voice and yet so down to earth and charming hope she goes far ahead in life

Just curious if you would have said this if she and Vineet were fighting it out for the TOP SPOT?

I have posted many views on nihira and whatever u said it is true, and her reply to shaan and her nature is very cool and dignified and always keeps herself away from the controversy.. no drama baazi even on the day she was eliminated [like the other did a mockery of the show] I love that girl very much for her simplicity and her parents that too her mother a very dignified lady who controlled her emotions and appreciating all the challengers for their hard work. she is superb superb. I wish to meet her sometime if I get a chance to go to mumbai. good luck nihira. your song kasamh se is very sweet sweet sweet.

Abhi: By not saying anything you can read the silence. Suffice it to say, our feelings about HR are unanimous Mumbai wide. The fact that HR fought with Hema's Mom was not taken well.

I consider myself lucky as well as blessed. I kept in touch with NJ during the entire trip and it recharged my batteries everytime. I need people like her to motivate me -

I also felt good about doing what I said I would do - where there is a will, there is a way - being an Aries, I am not surprised ....

Absolutely!! that is why the SSS label goes with her - just pure no drama.

Knowing what I know, I am happy she lost this thing. Winning it was a losing proposition for the things that followed. I am glad she won our hearts and lost the competition. I could not have written a better script. I even complained to her for doing the AV on the day she lost as negative marketing.

surpremiji...ur so lucky to have met nihira...If at all u talk to her again ..Please tell her she has a die hard fan here on IF...and i'd love to meet her too....I convey my best wishes to her for all her forthcomin singing offers!! And all the best for her exams too 😛 😃
