How did you fall in love with Harry Potter?

i was lik 10 or 11 when i first started out with HP. i fell in love with the character coz i cld relate to a smart boy who knew many tricks.😆

my sister told me of it! i went to watch the first film before reading the book and i loved it! 😃i thn started reading the books and thy were evn btr!!! i loved all the magic, loyalty, love, friendship, fun and magic! it was soo good tht i picked it up and couldnt put it down!!!😃

In grade 3, my teacher read PS out loud. I then read Chamber of secrets on my own, then POA that following summer and GoF in grade 4. Then the other books whenever they came out.

Hmm, I remember in grade 3 everybody knew there would be 7 books and we would always theorize whether Harry would live or die. I remember all the kids my age would say he would die. So now in high school, the kids I know who are HP fans went to the elementary school I went to.

In my english class this year, we had to do a compare-contrast essay on whatever. I chose Harry and Voldemort. If you guys wanna read it, it's here. My teacher would always make HP references but I was the only one who got them.

Oh a few days, two of my friends we "left" school early and we were walking home. My two friends are very talented singers, adn they're both in my school's jazz choir. My guy friend started singing the low-electric version of Hedwig's Theme while my girl friend started doing the more haunting-slow version. It was amazing, I just stood there feeling useless cause I can't sing.

Today in chemistry, my teacher was burning magnesium and it looks like this..
I turned to my friend who's HP fan and he's like half way across the room adn I was like 'EXPECTO PATRONUM'. I'm a nerd.

I plan on going to the last two HP movies at midnight...and DRESSED up. Yes. I have 2 friends who'll do this but they don't know each other, so I'm going have to pick one of them to go with.

Harry Potter isn't even my favourite series..it's just a series that I love being a fan of.

Last year I was re-reading the series and in my science class I would read a lot to the people near me (most were movie watchers) and I would do it in a british accent. No joke. So from then on, whenever I read outloud in like groups I do a british accent.

I was actually 6 or 7....and there was this one girl named Vivian in my class. People always praised her that she read so fast, and I was envious LOL (I was in 1st or 2nd grade, give me a break :P)

So then she got the first HP book and I'm like, "I can read that faster than her!"

And I ended up finishing it in about three to four days and lost the competition, but whatever, I got hooked :P
