I don't like the new Alekh. Sadhna deserves better

2 years back while changing channels I stumbled upon Bidaai. There was a scene of Alekh coming that time. I so liked his acting that I got hooked to Bidaai and gradually I developed love and admiration for that character. But ever since he has become normal(I dont know the definition of normal though), he has lost his heart but gained everythign else. May be he has the heart of Vasu, since he is her loving son anyways. Anyways the point is: Its the creatives. I dont understand why dont they refer to past episodes.I mean how come a person's core values and nature will change with such transformation. True every person had up and down in life but the core nature stays always...

Its just hard to believe that in the name of drama, how can the creatives forget the basic art of story telling...

That's a good point Suman. Th core values doesn't change, that too drastically. The man who loved Sadhana so much that he never let anyone treat her bad. People had to get past him to harm Sadhana. And that kind of love and care how could it change 180 degrees as soon as he has become normal?

If one remembers the scene at Aalekh's first official party and the dance it appears he is deeply in Love with Sadhana. The way he looked at her, the way he put his arms around her while dancing, the way he was passionate about her, it is really difficult to believe he is capable of doing things he is doing now to Sadhana.

Most importantly, the trust factor should not have vanished in his core character. Not that he doesn't remember his past?

You are right, Alekh was much better when he was ill. His innocence was his main lovable characteristic which he has lost after he became well and started his momma chant.

He was brave enough when he was ill atleast incase of Vasu he was ..and now :(

i agree...if i was sadhna i wud divorce alekh 😛

When he was not normal, he hated his mom alot. So it was easy for him to blast her wheneve she ill treated Sadhana. After he came to know, his choti ma was the main culprit and not his mom, he is feeling guilty. He feels he has hurt her vey much for the last 10-15 yrs by hating her, when she loved him. So he is abit guilt ridden and does not want to go against her and make her unhappy. Actually Alekh's character has alot of complexity. There is no doubt regd his love for Sadhana. He loves her too much, but the situations that came like Ranvir going to jail, Ragini's miscarriage and his mom's sadness at Ranvir going to jail, made him think about everyone, except himself and Sadhana. In making up for others, he hurt himself and Sadhana the most. As soon as he got ok, he has been alot of turmoil in his life. He will learn gradually and fight for Sadhana and himself. Their love is very strong, but the surroundings has made him to crush his love.

I hope he gets crazy again!!! This new look of him annoys me so much, his acting seems so fake.

at least when he was abnormal he stood up for sadhna.

Alekh always stood by Sadi as a "DOST", he was never her husband. At that time, he used to hate Vasu with passion and he had no responsibility towards his family. After his recovery, his main focus has been to prove himself for his mother. Vasu is playing her cards really well by emotionally blackmailing him all the time. She is a control freak and not letting him become independent and strong enough to take his own decisions.

He loves Sadhana so much, but love is not the only element in marriage...there should be trust, understanding and compromise. Once he realizes this, he will become a husband for Sadhana in real sense.

Aalekh can take all the time in the world to recover and develop his sense of independence, I can't wait for Sadhna to have a better life soon. Aalekh better make up for this and more when he is ready.
