It's not easy for an outsider to make it big in the film industry on his own. It's tougher when you are already a star child and people will still not give you the desired attentions. Such barriers come and they pass and then arise stars like Shahid Kapoor. Born into a film family, Shahid started out as an extra on the sets of 'Taal' dancing behind the ever enchanting Aishwarya Rai. He then went on to star in several commercials, one being beside the baadshah Khan himself. A journey that started out on a smaller road saw the highway when, after much consideration, rejecting and screen testing, Ken Ghosh agreed to cast Shahid in his debut film 'Ishq Vishq'. Once the boy-next-door was introduced to the silver screen, there was no turning back. Shahid has always had the right stars to help him throughout his career. Being a Piscean makes him very secretive and impatient at the same time, but there was no mystery to his success, for his talent was clearly partly the credit of his lineage and the result of his craftsmanship. Numerologists say that Kareena and Shahid were never meant to be together but Shahid keeps mum about his relationships, be it Kareena or Priyanka.
