Well there was another instance of Sushma vs. Poonam today with the whole sari issue, when Poonam gets pissed and walks off, effectively calling Sushma a theif.

And Padma hinders Jyoti again from these rituals and lets Sushma go first.

But really, no one noticed how pissed Poonam looked when Sushma was going through her suitcase? Everyone was looking at how much fun Sushma was having, not a single person noticed Poonam.

This track is starting to sound like the movie 'Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar'

Where Salman Khan marries Shilpa Shetty who is an only child and slightly richer. She's not used to sharing her things, and when the family gets over imposing on her, she starts to hate them.

The main theme of that movie was that think of your sasural people as your own, not as others.

I'm pretty sure that's what's happening here

The latest in Padma's antics was classic - her argument to Jyoti on 'What difference does it make whether what she's signing is true or false?' Does she have any idea of the penalties associated w/ perjury? Granted, it is probably different in India than it is in Western countries, but it's nonetheless serious.

She never cares for Jyoti, but in her support, she brings up the argument of how the lawyer coming w/ the notice disrupted Poonam's engagement. She never cares for Sudha, but she wants this letter to be signed so that Sudha is not tortured by Bhairavi. Yeah, right, we know how much she cares. She comes up w/ a bizzare analogy w/ half cooked rice, but unlike Pankaj, Jyoti isn't trying to marry anybody, nor is she trying to become single. She's just accepted her lot in life, and is moving on.

In this case, Padma knows that Jyoti isn't going to take any cash. There is nothing in it for Deepu, Sushma nor Poonam. So why is she so hell bent in interfaring in something that's not only none of her business, but also not going to benefit her dear ones in any way?

Its better to remain single than being divorced... why all this unnecessary drama...I am fainting... but Jyoti would be happy that she would now get more problems to solve... crazy lady...

Padma should sit on a stove if she is so adamant about getting a water-heater.. lol... If Poonam moves out with Deepu , Jyo will be blamed by Padma for finding an upper middle class / rich girl for Deepu... oh no...

If the last incident of Poonam declining the honeymoon tickets weren't humiliating enough on grounds of not being up to her standards, Padma shamelessly presses for them to now take money from Sudha to upgrade this.

Also, Sushma asks Dadi how she raised her father, given all the trouble she had, and what sort of schooling she had. That conversation was interesting - was Sushma looking for pointers?

I don't understand why Sushma tried Poonam's cosmetics.

In retrospect, if Poonam had touched anything that belongs to Sushma, she would've thrown a fit (like the whole, 'this is my room' incident)

I know Sushma's stupid, but it's common coutesy to not touch anything that's not yours. I blame Sushma entirely for creating unnecessary friction each time (like when Poonam kept telling her to pick another sari but Princess Sushma only wanted that one that was special to Poonam)

It get a real kick out of watching Sushma's face everytime Padma takes Poonam's side. She got so much pleasure from the same feeling when Padma used to take her side over Jyoti's. Well, what goes around comes around. I love it that Sushma is being forced to grow up (because aparntly the whole Brij and Thakkar incident didn't make her more mature at all)

God, I hate hate hate Sushma so much. I wish she'd just rotted with Brij
