mahesh and jyoti- 2 big idiots

i really don't understand why mahesh trivedi got poonam married to deepu.... i mean that poonam was not in love with deepu nor was he some old friend of the sharmas to think deepu was good....it was an arranged marriage.......a rishta arranged by jyoti....... it is not possible for a father who loves and protects his daughter blindly ( getting so many gifts, having servants for doing all her odd jobs. giving all comforts of life) to get her married to a family like sharma and a guy like deepu. i mean even a normal father will get his daughter married only to a family which can give her comforts which she is used to.... why should he have got her married to deepu.... he does not even earn enough to take his wife to honeymoon or buy a vehicle which are absolute necessary things for the trivedis..... what was so good in deepu that they were dying to get poonam married to deepu.... poonam is not mentally or physically handicapped ( tantrums are irritating but it does not qualify her as mentally challenged) with all his wealth he could have got poonam easily married to a well settled boy in their status living in a nice house with all facilities ..... i can understand Padma"s interest in having poonam as bahu but Mahesh interest in Deepu as damad is very stupid.

I so ditto what you say...Precisely what I have been feeling.In a bid to convert Jyoti into a matyr the creatives can go to any extent.
Avoiding the paternity test is the dumbest thing I have heard yet 🤣

I agree partly on your comments on Mahesh Trivedi, but remember, he's spoilt Poonam to the extent that he'll allow her to marry anyone she chooses, compatible or not. He told Jyoti that it was Poonam's call, and Poonam, being immature, just said yes to Deepu on the first meeting itself, w/o bothering to find out more about his home, lifestyle & family. Now she's a complete misfit there.

On Jyoti, she should have taken a paternity test, instead of just going by the movie accounts of what love entails, and stating that no evidence should be required for true love. She is arrogating to herself roles that will not be hers, such as a dad. Tonight, when Pankaj's counsel states that she's been living away for over a year and is 2 months pregnant, what is she going to say? She's better off reverting to the truth, changing what she said in her written testimony and exposing Bhairavi & Pankaj - that's the only way I can see her divorce passing thru.
