Beggar's Opera for Nupur!

Beggar's Opera is a classic play written by John Gay in the 18th century. It was written to satirize certain aspects of society. In the context of MJHT, the plot no longer deserves satire even. However, for the past month and a half, injustice has been meted out to one sole character in the department of clothing...our very adorable and vibrant Nupur. The one character who shines in every episode of MJHT, irrespective of a non existent sensible storyline, has been repeating her clothes so often that they now resemble rags. In such a scenario I think Nupur fans should stage a modern Beggar's Opera in the forum and ask each and every fan of MJHT, not merely of the character, for a hypothetical MONETARY contribution toward the Get Nupur New Clothes Initiative!

So come on people...loosen your virtual purse strings and help to this cause! Since this is an opera you are also welcome to post songs that suit the situation...parodies most welcome!

Anything for my Nupur.
SERIOUSLY? They cant even afford her decent clothes.
They are making Mayank change his outfit everyday and from what I heard it use to be the bride who use to dress up more after marriage and not the husband.

I am donating 20,000 rupees for the newly wed bride.

poor thing ...usually when girls get married .....they get new clothes .new everything but here its opposite .......

mayank is getting new t-shirts

this very new tradition started by mjht .....that new man who got married got new clothes

poor girl is wearing older one

i wanted 2 donate money of rs 5000 for this very cause

since bauji disowned... & mayank is not disowned so might be shipa aunty had parcel clothes for mayank ........

nupur since she is disowned ..so she didn't got new clothes from her maayka
