I love songs from MNIK...and very similar songs...songs that you don't have to see on screen, you can feel, picture and hear the story in the song...

Everyone knows that June 19th was the highlight of KS...a night when two people become one under the emotional strain and then Pia came and spoilt it all...

Jai Pov:

SAJDAA:
Music: Shankar Ehsaan Loy
Singers: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Richa Sharma
Lyrics: Niranjan Iyengar

Rom rom tera naam pukare
Every part of me cries out your name
Ek hue din rain hamare
Our days and nights have become one
Humse hum hi cheen gaye hain
I've lost a part of myself
Jabse dekhein nain tihare
Ever since I looked at you

The full moon cast its shimmer on the dark waters kissing the sand as they gently rolled over. A lone figure sat on the rocks, watching the nature at play even at night. He wondered if mother earth ever took a breath and stopped still, did she ever ponder at her fate, the billions that trampled on her…quenched their thirst from her…or bleed over her for over unimportant things in the world…world that was ruled by a invisible force that no one has yet been able to glimpse sight of.
Unlike her, he was sitting here holding his breath, his life having come to a standstill. He wondered why he had not seen his fate…why he had been unable to say those words…words that had sang in his heart for few days. She had entered his life uninvited yet left with all her imprints splashed firmly in his heart and his mind.
He remembered…

Sajda……
Worship…..
Teri kaali akhiyon se jind meri jaage
Your lovely black eyes make me come alive
Dhadkan se tej daudoon sapnon se aage
I run faster than a heartbeat and gallop ahead of dreams
Ab jaan loot jaaye
Now my life can be stolen
Yeh jahan choot jaaye
I can leave this world
Sang pyar rahe main rahoon na rahoon
But my love will be with you whether I live or not
Sajda….tera sajda
I'll worship you
Din rain karoon
Day and night
Na hi chain karoon
I'll never rest
Ab jaan loot jaaye
Now my life can be stolen
Yeh jahan choot jaaye
I can leave this world
Sang pyar rahe main rahoon na rahoon
But my love will be with you whether I live or not
Sajda….tera sajda
I'll worship you
Lakh vaar karoon
A thousand times
Meri jaan karoon
You, my beloved
Ranjhana…..
My beloved…..
Nainon ke teer chal gaye
Your eyes pierce me

The first time he looked into those eyes. They had fear, those black eyes had haunted him with the naked fear of him reflected in her eyes. That was the first time his mind had stumbled…was he so hateful…was he such a beast that he evoked such fear in her?
Next time he had really been startled by her eyes was when he had gifted her bangles…the gold bangles that had been his mothers. Her eyes had sparkled, they were no longer black with fear but had golden flecks that danced with happiness. She had looked at the bangles and than at him and then back at the bangles, before taking them from his hands and slipping them over her dainty wrists. The sparkle in her eyes had stayed until the lights had been turned off and her eyelids had closed against the darkness.
Her eyes really told him the story…the story of what she was feeling. She had few words to say but her eyes had many to read. Oh how he she had accused him of cheating…and he had not even cheated…all he had done was dance with Roshni…his ex-girlfriend. I mean how could have refused in front of all those people…it had just been a dance, but he had seen the accusation in her eyes, the dark piercing glare that had made him feel guilty. That one look that had unnerved him, had wiped out happiness he had been feeling. When he had tried to find her…she had disappeared…he couldn't locate her and he had been filled a chill.

Saanjana…..
My love….
Saanson se dil sil gaye
Your breath moistens my heart
Palkon mein chhupa loon
I'll hide you in my gaze
(Ho tere sajda karoon)
(I'll worship you)
Seene mein sama loon
I'll hold you in my heart
(Ho din rain karoon)
(day and night)
Palkon mein chhupa loon, seene mein sama loon
I'll hide you in my gaze, I'll hold you in my heart
Mere ang ang rang mera bole
Every part of my being cries out….
Ab jaan loot jaaye
Now my life can be stolen
Yeh jahan choot jaaye
I can leave this world
Sang pyar rahe main rahoon na rahoon
But my love will be with you whether I live or not
Sajda….tera sajda
I'll worship you
Lakh vaar karoon
A thousand times
Meri jaan karoon
Just you, my beloved
Beliya….
My beloved….
Kya hua jo dil kho gaya
So what if your heart is lost
Mahiya….
My love….
Ishq mein khuda mil gaya
Love takes you closer to God
Zara aakh se pila de,
Quench my thirst with your eyes
(oh tera sajda karoon)
(I'll worship you)
Zara khwaab sajaa de,
Embellish my dreams
(oh din rain karoon
(Day and night))
Zara aakh se pila de, zara khwaab sajaa de
Quench my thirst with your eyes, embellish my dreams
Mere honton se man tera bole
My lips speak what your heart says….

His heart had almost stopped when his search had been empty. He had walked out of the party in a daze not knowing where to find her. In desperation he had driven home, praying all the way that she would be there…that he would find her in her favourite spot, near the window of their bedroom, which had become her comfort zone. Her eyes had almost drowned him in their dark pools as they had turned and gazed at him near the door. And when she removed her gaze he felt as if she had stripped him naked, his guilt hanging open around his neck.
Her searing breath had driven him over the edge, it had set his heart on fire. Her quivering lips had stilled when he touched them. When he withdrew his face to stare at her, her eyes had changed, the pain gone…replaced by warmth. She had spoken, what was in her heart and he had…answered back…answered back in only way he knew. Two hearts had merged to become one, two eyes had spoken what was in their hearts…

Ab jaan loot jaaye
Now my life can be stolen
Yeh jahan choot jaaye
I can leave this world
Sang pyar rahe main rahoon na rahoon
But my love will be with you whether I live or not
Sajda….tera sajda
I'll worship you
Din rain karoon
Day and night
Na hi chain karoon
I'll never rest
Sajda….tera sajda
I'll worship you
Lakh vaar karoon
A thousand times
Meri jaan karoon
Just you, my love

Teri kaali akhiyon se jind meri jaage

But that heavenly night did not last. Daylight had chased away what had been her eyes and mine. I could no longer tell her what I had told her last night…even though she had asked. Why did I not tell her that I want to keep her caged in my heart…why did I not tell her I want her to keep me drowned in those eyes. Why did love have to be so painful? Why did love leave you bleeding…alone…yet burning inside? Why did love make one desire and worship another even when they have long gone?

Bani POV...

Mere Humasafar (Refugee)

Mere Humsafar, Mere Humsafar
Mere Paas Aa, Mere Paas Aa
Mere Humsafar, Mere Humsafar
Mere Paas Aa, Mere Paas Aa
Humein Saath Chalna Hai Umr Bhar
Mere Paas Aa, Mere Paas Aa
Humein Saath Chalna Hai Umr Bhar
Mere Paas Aa, Mere Paas Aa
Mere Paas Aa
Mere Humsafar, Mere Humsafar
Mere Paas Aa, Mere Paas Aa...

She had come back to her old refuge…a place that only she knew…it had always been her secret. But when things got tough, when she felt depressed or when she needed time to think in peace, she had trekked up the rough path, climbing nimbly over rocks to reach the ledge. Here sitting next to a tumbling stream, she could just let her thoughts wash away with the falling water. She loved it when on a hot day, the fine spray would caress her hot skin…the cold water made her skin prickle.

Today she had come here once again to find peace…she was seeking answers to the questions that plagued her mind. Questions that had been erased that one night had also clawed back the same night when her sister had stormed back into her life…her marriage.

The night she had given her heart and soul to the man she had married…the night that seemed full of promise…finally they would tread the same path together, would face life knowing that there was love…there was tie that bound them together forever.

Hai Safar Humara Naya Naya
Isi Pal Andhera Jo Ho Gaya
Hai Safar Humara Naya Naya
Isi Pal Andhera Jo Ho Gaya
Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa
Kayein Kho Na Jayein Ye Reh Guzar
Mere Paas Aa, Mere Paas Aa
Humein Saath Chalna Hai Umr Bhar
Mere Paas Aa, Mere Paas Aa
Mere Paas Aa
Mere Humsafar, Mere Humsafar
Mere Paas Aa, Mere Paas Aa...

Why did her moment of happiness vanish with the cries of her sister? Why did she stand like a statue and let her sister blame everyone for her misery, except herself? Why did she let her say those searing words that she did not love her husband? That she was trapped in a marriage of convenience for the sake of others happiness…that she had suffered hatred of her husband because of careless mistake of her sister.

She had watched helpless as the face that had given her heaven few minutes ago, the lips that had scorched her soul and mouth that whispered tender words was now twisted in disgust. The eyes had filled up with hatred and the hands that had held were curled up into tight fists.

When her sister had finished her tirade, he had screamed at them to get out from the room, the room where few minutes ago they had been lying entwined in each other's arms.

The crack had already fallen in the road of their travel even before they had few steps…the feet had not even stumbled upon a small stone on the road…no the feet had been stopped still by a giant rock fall.

Zara Thaher Jaa Mere Hum Navan
Yahan Agle Mod Pe Hoga Kya
Zara Thaher Jaa Mere Hum Navan
Yahan Agle Mod Pe Hoga Kya
Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa
Kise Hai Pataa Kise Hai Khabar
Mere Paas Aa, Mere Paas Aa
Humein Saath Chalna Hai Umr Bhar
Mere Paas Aa, Mere Paas Aa
Mere Paas Aa
Mere Humsafar, Mere Humsafar
Mere Paas Aa, Mere Paas Aa...

She had not stayed in that house, how could she when a wall of silence had fallen around her. How could she stay and bear to see him so close yet so far? How could she stay when she could no longer look into his eyes? How could she stay when she could not show him what was in her heart?

No she had not waited to see what happened? She did not want to stay and play a game once more. A game where she would never be a winner…Her sister had played her game well. The night that changed her from a girl to woman…from desiring love to finding love…to wishing a future to glimpsing a future…a game that she had lost. Their path was not the same…they were meant to travel different roads.

Aey Hey Yaa, Aey Hey Yaa
Aey Hey Yaa, Aey Hey Yaa...
Jo Gharon Ko Chod Ke Hain Chaley
Jo Gharon Ko Chod Ke Hain Chaley
Unhein Kya Darayeingay Faasaley
Jo Gharon Ko Chod Ke Hain Chaley
Unhein Kya Darayeingay Faasaley
Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa
Humein Jaana Hai Dil Ke Nagar
Mere Paas Aa, Mere Paas Aa
Mere Humsafar, Mere Humsafar
Mere Paas Aa, Mere Paas Aa

She had no desire to return to back to the house. She would live with the memory of that one night…the love she had filler her would see her through the rest of life. More than the physical bond…the emotional bond of love was the one to treasure…because no one can destroy that…no one can take that away form her…no one. She would tumble along the life just like the bubbling stream in front of her, uncaring where it took her, just following the natural course that had been etched in the land centuries ago…but the stream knew at the end of her journey, she would merge with the ocean to become one with it…and she will live with that hope that may be not in this life but next she too journey again looking for him and finding him and becoming one with him.

Humein Saath Chalna Hai Umr Bhar
Mere Paas Aa, Mere Paas Aa
Mere Paas Aa
Mere Humsafar, Mere Humsafar
Mere Paas Aa, Mere Paas Aa...
Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa
Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa Aa...

Sad how Bani life went from one full of happiness , to one full of indignation.

All thanks to Pia, the sister to whom there is not enough adjectives to describe

how despicable she is.

Divan, simply fabulous.

Continue real soon, take care.

Please update The Sales, also, thank you.
