TV Actor
Jaggu > Isn't it ironical that even after your debut film Jaan Tere Naam did well at the box office you went into oblivion. What could be the reason behind it?
Filmy > Do you think if you had debuted in films today (than over 10 years ago) things would be a lot different for you? Are today's newcomers more at an advantage than they were in your time?
Vkk > Do you have any role models?
Radrose > Hi, which role you most enjoy playing the most - Mihir Vrani or Mr Bajaj ?
Manu > When you look back on your life today, what do you attribute your success to?
Chaithra > Tell me the secret behind your success in the serials .
Ronit Roy > I really don't know. It's something that has just happened.
Long-live > Do you think if the TV boom in India had not happened you would have been lost to us as an actor?
Ronit Roy > Yes definitely. I guess it's only because of TV that I am back. Maybe, like I got TV, I would have got a role in some film....
Ragita > Did your career initially take a toll on close personal relationships with your wife? Is that the reason your first marriage did not last despite the fact that you have a 12 years old daughter from your first marriage?
Ronit Roy > Well, my 12 years old daughter at that time was one (of the reasons) and it was not entirely my career. Maybe my career was one of the things that added fuel to fire. At the height of my career, I actually sacrificed six months (of my work) to try and get my family back but at that time the incompatibility factor was very high.
Rahul > Is it a boon or a curse to play an older character on TV?
Ronit Roy > Well, on the face of things currently it is like a boon and also I have grown since Jaan Tere Naam so the characters that I am playing are not too far away from where I am .
Jhanvi > So you run a security agency for film stars! You are an enterprising man. Tell us a bit more about it.
Ronit Roy > Thank you. This is something that a friend of mine introduced me to and I specialise in sync sound lock ups and personally guarding VIP stars, including total film security.
Chaithra > Whom do you prefer a working woman like Prerana or a home maker like Tulsi ?
Ronit Roy > My wife is a home maker and I would not like her to work at any one particular job otherwise she is free to do whatever she feels like. She also takes care of various things for me including my home so that's a very fine mix of Tulsi and Prerna.
Rohan > Are there any mature roles coming up after essaying role of an elderly father in KSBKBT and KZK?
Chinki > Hi, are you content with TV or you are thinking of getting onto the big screen too?
Shradha > How does it feel being a heart throb of every next gal and woman, even the married ones ?
Sign Off Message > Thanks for watching me on TV and thanks for all the adulation. Thanks for voting me for all the awards I have won and I want to tell all the young people out there - keep chasing your dream and one day it will become a reality. God bless!
