In today's episode, Jyoti had Kalpana accompany her to court for the divorce hearings w/ Pankaj.

Pankaj too went there, w/ CM, Neelam's parents as well as Uday & Sudha. Before that, CM was hectoring Sudha on the importance of testifying on behalf of the Vashisths. The laughable dictat from her to Sudha was that she wasn't being asked to lie, but that whatever truth she said was in the interests of the Vashisth parivar.

Uday, who was there, looked aloof and disgusted, and when Sudha approached him, he said that since Pankaj was unconvincable and Jyoti herself had signed off on that divorce, there was nothing they could do about it, and that they had to fulfil whatever responsibilities they had to the family. Sudha accepted it and went on to call Pankaj to get ready to go.

Outside the courthouse, when they met Jyoti, Sudha looked @ her sadly, while Uday didn't even look - he seemed to embarrassed. For the first time, there was no interaction b/w Jyoti & Uday.

Kalpana told Jyoti that she was bound to emerge victorious, since she was truthful, but Jyoti told her that she had signed off on those documents. Kalpana asked Jyoti why she signed off on a false statement, and Jyoti explained that it was @ the behest of Neelam's parents, and for the sake of their daughter. If her engagement got broken, she'd be the subject of rumors and innuendo, and to save her from that, she lied. She said that a lie that hurt nobody wasn't wrong.

Do you agree w/ the above, or do you think Jyoti is making things ugly for herself if this comes out later on? Has Jyoti lost the respect of Uday & Sudha by doing this, and if yes, are they justified?

Jyoti being Jyoti wudnt mind having to face more insults from society by doing this.. what she did is gonna bite her on her back .. this makes it evident for the society that the child she is carrying isn't Pank's.. shiv shiv shiv... 😲

Kalpana is there to support her though and she seems stronger than what she really is..so hope she opens her mouth in the court to make the case elastic and prolong for a looooooong time so the loser Neelam's family also suffer in pain...Although Jyoti herself does a lot of sacrifices to make Neelam's life safe, its now turn for others to speak in the court... bahuth hogayaa.. I think except Padma and Poonam , everyone else should come to the court to do their share of truth telling...Padma can make pasta with Poonam and eat till their stomachs explode... After CM, I hate these two human flesh eating pasta liking monsters...
