My Thirst

As the cold wind blows
And the day fades to night
Come to me my love
Take my hand and love me right

When the chill gathers strength
And as the embers fade
It is only your call that I await
To take me to my destined fate

Why do I not see you,
Even after having called out to you so?
Will you not grant me the one wish,
Which I know to be of hope?

Yes. I know that this I is not me
And that this shell is not to be
For it's only after all my work gets done
Your majestic beauty will I get to see

I feel, I know, as the time comes for sure
To begin my final journey, my answer to your call
Then why do I still crave to see you so
Before these mortal eyes fall?

Is it the kiss that we share when we look across a crowded room into each other's eyes... the kiss that is the yearning to be by each other's side...
Or the nothing that we do that is what I love about you...
Sometimes it's the softness of your voice, or the kindness in your eyes...
Or the sweetest smile in you that is so adorable that I can't keep my eyes off of you...

I wish I were, a little cloud,
A floating, in the sky,
I'd float to you, and you know what,

On my face of course the biggest smile,
For this, I'd tell you true.

I loved you for who you were
Thought would spend the life with your forever
The things I did were just taken for granted
For once did you say or do what I wanted
Over and over again you made me cry
But when you came back, I never asked you why
The depth of the love just doesn't start and end with a kiss
It is the most purest form of feeling, an eternal bliss How I wish you knew what you meant to me I would have walked with you and let the rest be When I needed you the most, you were gone My wait for was still going on I still remember the promises that you made You took so that they even begin to fade Together we may not be on this very special day
You will always be in my thoughts be it sorrow or gay !
