Its AMEY/KARUNYA 4 SONU I can prove dat
I'm betting on Amey, Karunya'-SONU NIGAM
Indian Idol Series 2 has been one of the BEST things that could have happened to a nation like ours where it's so common for talent to go unnoticed.
From the very inception of the idea to the execution of each episode, the show defines perfection. We have seen before our eyes, participants walk into the studios with a dream in their heart and the determination to make the most of the opportunity the show is giving them.
Truly capturing the spirit of our nation, the show has seen people from all backgrounds and from every corner of the country compete for the prestigious Idol crown.
This year's finalist Antara is a true example of how a small town girl's dreams can take flight on the show. From the village on the Indo-Bangadesh border to the glitz and glamour of Mumbai city, Antara has made the most of her opportunity and the country seems to be backing her too!
As for this year's results, I have big hopes for Karunya and Amey. They have consistently delivered quality songs and have tried to work with their talents and to refine their performances.
The girls seemed to have lost focus on their singing and have got too consumed with their looks. The makeovers have been a great boost for their confidence levels and have helped in improving their stage presence, but they must not forget that they are not here for a beauty contest, their ultimate talent is their singing and they should be concentrating on that.
Week after week, the results of the audience votes at Indian Idol Series 2 seem to shock us as judges and the contestants as well.
This week too, the lowest votes went to Meenal, Monali and Karunya, who have always enjoyed our support. I know the public's say is the ultimate decider on this show, but they should know who should be voted in and who should be voted out.
I believe that the Indian viewers have the decision-making capabilities and should be able to recognise true talent. I don't know why Monali was voted out this week, when there were many others like Ravi, Sandeep and Panna, whose performances were of a lower calibre than hers.
ANU likes Antara/Karunya
FARAH likes KARUNYA/PANNA
