So Dutta was Adopted?

Ummm, adopted? I don't know. They don't resent him for taking OVER the money, they just don't want him having his own family so no one takes his attention away from them. At least I think so.

And I don't know if this was a family business - I mean I know that the Patil men have been fairly voilent, but who's to say that they were all gangsters? What if he started this on his own? And if the Patil family is anything like "Sarkar" then I'm sure they wouldn't force their son into the business - if he wanted to live a "clean" life, he very well could.

I think trio or atleast Kaala and Leela were born from Aayi sahib's first marraige or something. And Dutta was born from his father's first marraige. So they are step-siblings. I could be totally wrong here though... 😆

I think that the only reason they dont want him out of theur lives is tha hes the only source of income into the family, if hes gone then so is the luxuries, and thats the only reason why they dont wanna boot him out completely.

I think Datta is definitely Aai Sahib's husband's son. He could be illegit or a child from another wife. Even if his family was a family of gangsters that doesnt mean he wanted to become one too right from the start. Also another possibility is Datta himself got into the business due to whatever happened in his past.

^ Well, your right...i didnt think about him having chosen to stay away from all this rukus. I imagined that if your family is so connected to the underworld, a person would have a choice but to become a part of it, one way or another.

I dunno abt reality but in movies/serials generally the hero has a choice either way. and anyways even if his dad was a don i dont think he would initiate his teenage son to the business.

Other than that part, i think in the precap, when they showed the girl, it showd Dutta in a smallish house didnt it? Or am i imagining things? So i felt that he might have been middle class before, unless that was the girls house, ^_^

well...dutta is not adopted b/c aayi sahib said several times about dutta's behavior similar to the men in patil family from generations. He is definitely blood-related to patil family....but he is a step-son to aayi sahib & step-bro to his sisters...rest is not fully revealed...so will have to wait to watch for confirmation.
