Karan Mehra, a.k.a. Naitik of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, made his relationship status public on his birthday, September 10, when he announced that he was engaged to Nisha Rawal. This you already know. However, did you know that he a dream girl in mind before he committed to Nisha?

"Many years ago, when I was working as an assistant director/executive producer, I happened to see the music video of Sonu Nigam's song, Chanda Ki Doli. As I gazed at the girl starring in the video, I made up my mind that this is how my girlfriend, or wife, should be," Karan quips.

Dreams do come true. The girl in the video was none other than Nisha Rawal! "It was a miracle," Karan continues. "She was a well-known personality, when I was a nobody, but she stood by me then, and that shows the faith she had in me," he adds.

We wonder if there are any hidden desires that he has held to his heart so far. Knowing his luck, all his wishes may just be fulfilled.

btw i wonder if watever written in the article is actually true or karan is juz saying it as another publicity stunt!!!!!!!

itz quite unbelievable tht he had decided long b4 juz by seeing a music video tht nisha is his dreamgirl.....and then this turning into reality!!!!!!!!can happen in reel life...but quite strange in real life.........
