but then, happiness, is a state of mind, and its rather subjective, and it depends upon sooo many factors... so, one cant really say that money can buy happiness! its infact, just one of the factors that can add up to one's happiness!

I agree with you.the whole idea of happiness depends on an individual and what satisfies that individual.
if money = satisfaction, then money = happiness. having a lot of wealth may satisfy some people, while it may not satisfy others.
the idea that "money can't buy happiness" is inaccurate to an extent - it has been romanticized by the media and to an extent by religious scriptures. it really depends on what kind of an individual you are.
Happiness is a subjective thing, we tend to think of happiness as something above materialistic things, which in a lot of cases, it is. However, money does bring about happiness, in the sense that it provides us the material things we desire. Money, however, cannot buy love, or respect, which I believe are an integral part of "being happy".
