Is this show a Yash Chopra production?
Would explain why its good despite being on Sony..it would explain why its good period.
😆
They should do some scenes from DDLJ in the show as part of Mahi's fantasies...esp the cow bell scene from the song Tujhe Dekha Tho Ye Jaana Sanam....
They should add Tid Bits from Yash Chopra movies/scenes in the fantasies and dreams..it would be so cute
DDLJ was/is/will be the best movie of ALL TIME!!!!!!

YRF ventured in to the TV industry with YRF TV. I think it's the same people who are producing these shows (Mahi Way, Seven, R.com etc.)

Just under two slightly different banners!

I agree, YRF TV has given soaps a whole new direction and flavor!

It's the whole modern aspect of the show that's still kept me here. There's enough 'traditional' stuff on TV that I'm actually bored.
Kudo's to YRF for venturing into this world and here's wishing them extreme success.

Although I am born, bred and raised in Canada, I too cringe when I watch Indian shows and Indian movies and the actors are trying TOO hard to be "westernized" i.e. light brown hair with blue contacts and ivory foundation...lol (we have some of those wannabe's in Canada too)
Some of the movies i.e Salaam Namaste...are "westernized" but I still like the movie .I watched it with my mom and although she cringed here n there ...she did like the movie..it is done with some level of class..also liked Dostana
However, I also find indian public has its own level of "unacceptable content" in indian drama's but somehow its okay as long as someone isnt kissing or showing skin (though most of the vamps dress in teeny tiny blouses with saris barely draped around them..soo)
How acceptable is a show where one guy marries one sister, sleeps with another and then has a baby with some uknown third character?? Why arent these shows being criticized??
Why can men in indian shows treat their women like crap?? Why are these women taking the crap??
Kissing and flashes of skin are not the only offensive things on tv!

I agree with you. I hope they don't..>When watching Indian Soaps on tv I never have to worry about anything that would be embarrassing to watch in front of my parents. I wish to keep it that way

I agree 100% with you. Esp the Ekta serials lol...I like shows like Mahi Way..cuz its more "realistic" than those Ekta ones. I really don't think women go to bed wearing FULL makeup and some really grand saree. I mean come on!
