Sudha : The voice of Reason

I am a silent member of this forum, but I heard Sudha in today's epi and couldn't help admiring her poise. Headstrong husband on hand, adventurous son on the other.... and not to mention the "nakchadhi" mother in law ...... The creatives have done a wonderful job in making Sudha's character one of the most "logical" ones....

I was glad to see Sudha seeing through the whole tamasha with a balanced view..... and she didn't hesitate to tell her dear son (and we know how dear he is to her) that he was responsible for the last straw on the camel's back. It was important for Abeer to realize that.... don't you think?

I think from all the posts I have read today, we all are admiring Sudha's character :) Definitely the CT has done a great job with her character..

And yes, Abeer needed to be shown where he was wrong and I am very glad Sudha did the deed...The reason I feel he needed to know was so he doesn't go about doing it again...Madhav and he got too carried away and totally overlooked the consequences..Knowing this Abeer will definitely feel guilty however I just hope he doesn't try making up for it cus at this moment it will just add fuel to the fire...

I hope to see a continuation of todays scene in tomorrow's eps...Sudha has a lot of things to say which will make Abeer calm down and look at what has happened correctly...Till now he is all fired up cus he is only thinking abt the insult Majumdar's had to go through...He's on a roller coster ride emotionally and mentally cus a lot of things unexpected have happened so he just needs to be talked with and shown the right path...and there's no one better then Sudha to do that honestly...

Nice post Koham 😊 . Even I really like Sudha, and who would'nt. She is a perfect bahu, perfect wife, and a perfect mother. Seeing how Shuklian is, you tend to like Sudha even more. Both are so contrasting in the way they treat their respective son.

Like Rajeev4aamna said, even I would like to see the continuation of Sudha-Abheer scene. Instead of scolding Abheer or slapping him, it is important to sit down with him and have a conversation and make him realize where he went wrong. His anger towards people who mistreated Majumdars is justified but his secret actions are not, specially in this situation. He took family photos and organized a function to bring both the families together, this was right as he did it openly. But organizing a secret ritual, which includes non-veg, was not. He should have thought a million times before taking even 1 step towards doing anything secretly. But Abheer did not even think twice before taking such a big step. This he needs to learn. He needs to understand the seriousness of the situation and that sometimes time is the best healer. And he also needs to learn when to stop interfering in other people's matters, as his good intentions may not always turn out to be good for others. All this he will learn slowly under his mother's guidance and Lehar's support. TN, please stay out of it. Today, he showed how he failed to understand his own son, thanks to his ego. I am glad Sudha told Abheer that it was because of his and Madhav's sillyness that this marriage got called off. I want her to continue this lecture tomorrow even. It is important for Abheer to realize this so that he can avoid such mistakes in the future, when it comes to his own love life.

I cannot wait to see how Sudha will handle AbHer relationship. The conversations that will take place between Sudha and Abheer during that time will make us love this mother-son chemistry even more. Infact, she will be the one, after initial reluctance, who will help Abheer deal with their family regarding this matter. With her support, Abheer can do anything.

I just loved how maturely she handled the situation after Abheer came home after eating eggs. She might have felt so hurt from inside, yet she understood what Abheer was going through.

Me too hoping to see more of that scene between Abeer and Sudha. Sudha will be a pillar of support for AbHer, am sure... Sudha will bring TN around too... TN is not brainless like Shukla. He just has a huge ego... which needs to be punctured soon! And it will....

Agree completely . It is important that sometimes one should know his limit . Abeer's one misadventure ruined so many lives and broke off a marriage. There are times when one should mind one's own business .

Sudha is of a balanced mind and she did a fabulous job to tell Abeer that what happened was more or less a result of his activity ,so that in future he could give a thought about the result which will be a consequence of his activity(s) .

After Sudha is done handling Abheer today, next I would really love to see Sudha explaining to TN that how he was wrong in slapping Abheer. She needs to calm not only her son but her husband too. Sudha is not really scared of TN. They share a nice husband-wife bond. Yes, TN's male ego over powers Sudha's calm nature, but I am sure Sudha can put her point forward in front of TN in private, specially when it is about her Lalla. I want her to tell TN that by explaining to Abheer he will understand, and it is not necessary to be so harsh with him.

In short, I would like to see TN-Sudha conversation about Abheer in their bedroom where Sudha overpowers TN with her strong reasoning.

I so want to see that scene Anvi,it would be good and sensible for them to show Sudha taking care of both the agitated men that mean the most to her....On one hand she has her son who in right in his own way and TN who is just playing along the customs and isn't able to see how badly he's messing his relationship with his son... and I think only Sudha can mend their bond ...Women's powers are truly the baseline of this show,where we see Shuklain and Boodha as strong evil minds and at the same time we see Leher and Sudha,two soft hearted yet headstrong women,also Rashmi who is a mixed genre :)

@ Anvi - A TN-Sudha scene where she talks to him about Abeer .. would be fantastic! I'm sooo game for such a scene .. and most definitely, it is necessary.

She is a very good actor...She can also act well without dialouges...Her eyes speak... :)
