Although this post might get me a lot of threat-mail but nonetheless – "mehh". Caution: If you are a sid/rid/armaan/ die-hard fan, don't read it. If you are bored out of your mind with DMG, please continue, it is meant to be for your entertainment!
So I have been thinking that DMG should just let Jennifer, aka Riddhima leave the show, I mean her character is cursed anyways dude!
But instead, they should have a new entry in Sanjivini: a new goth doctor for Sid's love interest – now talk about 'opposite attracts'! Believe me, this will definitely be interesting! (but then again I have an odd sense of humour). So this goth doctor will have a past, but not Yuvi's meaningless, fruitless past. An actual past. She is a brilliant, sarcastic, rock-music lover (mostly breaking benjanmin) doctor – think of House (except the rock music). However, she is self-destructive, and there is a reason for that. She is mysterious and dark – again not Yuvi mysterious – actually mysterious.
She is related to Shuvankar (I needed to bring this dude back to life, I mean where the hell is the senior doctor). She needs to be related to him because he helped her get the job since no other hospitals would hire her since she just got out of rehab. Yes, she has a bit of a problem, but she is an excellent diagnostician.
At her first entry, she is kind of looked at as an outsider –with her grungy, tom-boy, vibrant hair color look (come on we had enough pretty female characters- we need someone spunky). So naturally none of the interns really like her, except for Yuvi- he is quite nonchalant about her. And the feeling is mutual. And she pisses them off even more with her smart ass, sarcastic diagnosis when faced with medical problems. (this will provide some light humour, even if she is dark – yes ironic – and also show that they actually work at a hospital). And why would Sid fall for her – lol he falls for any girl that is not taken so yeah!
Alright, so on a serious note – Our goth doctor is very detached from her patient. She tells the patient how it is without a remote feeling of sympathy. (It's not that she really doesn't care – she actually does care a lot but she hates showing her feelings- so hide it she chooses to be a bitch about it). The story here is, our beloved goth doctor finished only one year of internship at some other prestigious hospital. She used to be a happy-go-lucky girl (has a bit of a wild side) with a wonderful boyfriend, whom she loved very much. So during one of her night-outs her beloved boyfriend got drunk. And she was stupid! enough to let him drive. So inevitably they got into an accident and both her boyfriend and the pedestrian died in the process. This has traumatized her and she blames the situation on her – thus the reason for her being emo and self-destructive. This story can be dragged on for a while without it being a drag as her story unfolds slowly…eh eh eh?
LOL – I don't know why I added the last part – I guess she needed a history of something. Lack of sleep + high cortisol level = idiotic rambling! Plus I was dared to post this.
