Ragini Khanna's near death experience!

Ragini Khanna who was last seen in Sony's 'Bhaskar Bharti' is all set to come back to the screen with a bang with Star Plus's 'Sasural Genda Phool'. TellyCafe caught up with Ragini just as she landed at Mumbai airport after a hectic shooting schedule in Sikkim, and got to know about a very scary experience which had left the bubbly actress shaking and shivering. Literally!

"Not to exaggerate, I feel I have seen death literally inches away from me and it is God's grace I'm even alive today!" says Ragini. No, there was no accident or incident that occurred at the shoot' thankfully... What Ragini is referring to is the bone chilling cold of Sikkim. "For the last 4 days, the team and I were shooting somewhere near the China border in Sikkim, and it was as cold as hell frozen over! Just imagine a person from the normal temperature of Mumbai, going directly to -8 degree temperature' how will the person feel?"

With Mumbai not even having real winters anymore, it is quite understandable to see the actress get a chill down her spine just at the thought of her experience. "Because of the requirement of the character, I had to dress a certain way, and couldn't even wear jackets or sweaters during the shots and half of the time I used to wonder whether I would ever get the sensation back in my fingers and toes! Fortunately, everything went smoothly and nothing bad happened to anyone' but because of this experience, I have started taking my life more seriously and also valuing it. This incident has made me wise in the real sense," adds a thoughtful Ragini.

Well, sometimes it takes an out-of-body experience to change one's perspective on life. Talking about the shoot, she excitedly said, "Everything is looking really nice and I can't wait for the show to come on air. Only a few days left to go!" signs off Ragini.

'Sasural Genda Phool' hits the air on March 1st. In the meantime, we're sure that at least for a few days, Ragini will appreciate Mumbai's weather!

jus -8😆 take her to UK in winter😆 shame, imagine if BB were shootin there, she could of had Aamir warm her up😆

Omg how shocking!

The things they do to get scenes completed..I can't believe it!..Why would they want to go through so much pain..?!

I mean not the actors but am shocked at the producers or directors for having to put these actors through such tight schedules which are not only strenuous but painful, from Ragini's experience that was just stated...Kinda sad..But it goes to show how much they go through to get things done and the things they do for us audience!....

So much dedication towards her work!!

Am proud of you Ragini!

You're truly THE BEST!! ...

Love you and am so sure you're gonna rock in SGP and make it the highest rating in Star Plus..Man those other Saas-Bahu shows need to move over cos Ragini is sure gonna rock the hell out of Star Plus with SGP!..

The amount of hardwrok and dedication thats put in, this show truly deserves

to do well!!..😊

This article is a gd one..!..We gt to see the hardship of these actors...Though it seems all easy peasy on screen, it's tough work off screen..

U bet... n just as Sohana mentioned in her FF.. ..Aamir culd hv really really WARMED her in that Sikkim ki Sardi....😉 n as for UK.. i bet..a certain Mr. Immy ..wuldnt mind.. keeping Ragz WARM.. now would he??

i would keep any woman warm should they feel the UK chill, am open for offers😆
