Well I guess if she openly embraces India and has set her heart in doing some good, she does deserve a chance like anyone else.

I don't think Sonia Gandhi is a legend yet, she is not a loss either. She happens to be a great leader who had a rough start. I like the kinda leadership she has given to the congress and brought them to power.

1. She's not born in India- no country in the world allows a foreign born person to become PM/President.

2. She only has a high school education.

3. Party of a dynasty that has run the country for almost 60 years... which brings into question of whether democracy serves any purpose for the average Indian...

4. She's involved in various corruption scandals, nepotism etc. regarding bofors guns among other things..

5. By being party leader, she resides over the weaker manmohan singh...

6. She was elected cuz of her name. Has nothing to do with merits or skill.

7. She has not purged her party of those people who killed sikhs back in 1984....

So, 1 billion Indians have made their statement by electing her.... 😆
