Scene: Mayank's Flat

Nupur enters with Anjali…….

N: Kal Mayank ka birthday hai…….aur pichli baar tumne mujhe surprise diya tha na………. kal dekhna main tumhe kaise surprise doongi……..

She puts the shopping bag which she brought from the market……….

N: Anjali……….hum papa ko kal bataayenge……dikha denge ki surprise dena humein bhi aata hai…….

Scene: Sehgal House

Samrat's Room……..

Samrat is going out wearing his formal coat for the office………Gunjan was coming in when he bumps his head with hers…….

S: Oh I am sorry……wo……main office ja raha hoon…….

G: Ji……..

Samrat steps down from the stairs and directly goes out of the house…….Gunjan is standing in the corridor watching Samrat going out……and Samrat's mother is standing in the loby……she sees Samrat leaves for the office……..and then raises her face and sees Gunjan standing there…….

SM (to herself): Kaisa hai ye ladka…..shaadi ke agle din hi chal pada office…….Gunjan ka chehra to dekho…….kisi ko bhi bura lagega…..main dekhti hoon issko shaam ko……

In the evening……..

Scene: Mayank's Flat

Nupur in the whole day prepared cake for Mayank…..

Mayank comes from office…….Nupur was in the bedroom…..

M: Nupur….paani…..

N: aa rahi hoon…..

M: Accha main khud le loonga fridge mein se…….

N: Nahinnnn…….ruko maine kaha na main aa rahi hoon……(she is worried that if mayank will open the fridge he'll see the cake)

Then Nupur comes and gives him water……

M (with his naughty smile): Nupur tum na ho to main pyaasa mar jaaunga……Accha ab doctor ke yahaan nahin chalna….

N: Haan chalo……

Scene: Sehgal House

Samrat enters…….puts his bag on the couch and sits there…..

Samrat's Mom also enters……..

SM: Aur kaisa raha aaj ka din Samrat…….office mein koi kuch keh raha tha……

S: Nahin kyun mom…..

SM: Ab teri shaadi ho gayi hai…..main tujhe daantoongi toh accha nahin lagega…..Gunjan ke liye bhi teri kuch responsibilities hain……shaadi ke pehle din hi koi office jaata hai kya……Itne log hain office mein par……hamaare Samrat ji ko hi sab kaam karna hai na……

Gunjan enters with a tray with cups of tea and some snacks…….

SM: Aao Gunjan beta……..baitho yahaan……….

She then gives honeymoon tickets to Samrat……

SM: Ye le tere honeymoon ki tickets………aur khabardaar jo maine Gunjan ki hansi ko gaayab dekha toh…….

SM(to Gunjan): Tu khush to hai na beta…….(she caresses her head)

Gunjan looking down and nods her head in yes…….

SM: Aur Samrat maine socha ki Singapore best jagah rahegi…….tera jaana pehchaana shehar hai…..apna ghar hai wahaan….aaram se rehna aur maze karna……

On hearing Singapore……..as if the floor went away below from his feet…….Singapore….the place where he and Dia met for first time……their beautiful memories…..he wanted to forget all this but now how can he go there ?

S: Par Mom……office mein bohot kaam hai……

SM: Main kuch nahin sunoongi……kuch din kaam se door rahega to tujhe thoda chaen milega….har waqt kaam kaam kaam……. Mujhe kuch nahin pata tum log kal jaa rahe ho and that is final………

Receptionist: sir aap abhi yahaan wait kariye……abhi thodi der mein aapko call kar lenge…..

M: Theek hai…..

And they sit waiting outside the cabin…..

Mayank points out towards a calander on which there was a cute baby's poster…..

M: Ab na mujhe ek chota sa wo chahiye……

N: Kya calendar……tumhein apni birthday par pocket size calendar chahiye…….(making a face).

M: Nahin….usspar jo cute sa chota sa baby hai na wo…….

N (blushing): Hushh…… yahaan hospital main aisi baat nahin karte koi sun lega toh……

Then Receptionists calls Nupur Sharma……

Scene: Doctor's Cabin

M&N: Good evening doctor……..

D: Ab aapki tabiyat kaisi hai Mrs. Sharma

N: Ab toh main bilkul theek hoon……

M: Ye reports hain…….aapne jo test kahe the wo subah karwa diye the……reports abhi counter se mili hain……..

He gives the envelope to the doctor………

After examining the reports…….

D: Jaisa mujhe lag raha tha………

M (very anxious): Sab theek toh hai na doctor……..

D: Oh oh…….no Mr. sharma darne ki koi baat nahin hai…….everything is fine……..but accha hua jo ye test samay par karwa liye gayye…….

N: Koi problem hai kya…….

D: Ji waise toh sab theek hai…….par aapki married life mein shaayad…….but you have a child…… I don't think ki koi problem honi chahiye……..

M&N: Ji aap saaf saaf kahiye…….

D: Dekhiye…… I want to say that……. Ki ye accha hoga ki aap ab koi baby plan na karein……mera matlab pehle bhi Nupur ki pregnancy mein bohot problem aayi theen……

Both Mayank and Nupur are hearing what the doctor is saying………..

D: Actually she is very weak internally……ek aur child…..it can be dangerous to her life……I hope you are understanding what I mean to say………

Both Mayank and Nupur are shocked to hear that…….they both could not believe their ears on what they heard right now………..It was shocking for them……They both stand up and leave…..

Outside Doctor's Cabin……

Both are walking out silently…….not looking at each other…….neither of them knows what happened…..how can it happen…..the only question in their mind was KYUN ?

Mayank drives the car back to home………both of them are sitting quietly not looking at each other……..remembering old memories……….

Here also both are quiet……Mayank goes to the the bedroom…….sleeps on one side of the bed switches of the light……..Nupur too she sleeps on the other side……..

Mayank is standing by the window gazing outside at the sunrise………(still thinking about what the doctor said last night…..)

Nupur wakes up and sees that Mayank is standing by the window…..She gets up and quietly reaches nearby Mayank and whispers in his ears HAPPY BIRTHDAY……

He was so tensed that he didn't responded to her….he had not even heard what she said…….

She is putting the icing on the cake HAPPY BIRTHDAY…..M then A then Y……..her hands her trembling……she could not control her emotions and leaves from there to balcony banging the door……..

In the balcony she sat on the floor crying……crying hugging her knees close to her body…….

On hearing the banging of the door Mayank comes back to his senses…….he sees that Nupur is not there on the bed……..he moves out and looks for her in the kitchen…….he sees the cake placed at the slab…..beautifully decorated……but his eyes were searching for Nupur…….

Then he comes out and sees Nupur sitting and crying desperately in the balcony…….

He comes and puts his hand over her shoulders………..

Hey Guys thats it for now....... main samay se pehle aa gayi.........
