a quick recap for u -

a guy named yash is eve teasing gunjan for 3-4 days and tht guy harasses gunjan yet again on vday, adhiraj comes to the rescue but the guy shoots gunjan and runs away from ther ..

now ... gunjan's in coma and nobody is able to testify against this yash guy except adhiraj .. soo, its easier to arrest him and put all the blame on him, since only he, apart from gunjan herself was wit tht yash guy tht day ...
