Madhura Naik enters in Dill Mill Gayye
Star One's Dill Mill Gaye will see a new entry in Madhura Naik in tonight's episode. Madhura is the rebellious sister of Sid (Karan Wahi), who comes to India for her brother's wedding.
An Indya source tells us, "Madhura plays the character of Suvarna who is a hip, sexy girl who feels that she is equal to any man. She is a doctor by profession and will join Sanjeevani later on... She does not believe in rituals and traditions in India and above all, has no belief in love. She might be paired opposite Dr.Armaan, who is coming back in the show."
We spoke to Madhura Naik aka Suvarna (Su) who said, "Yes, I am the part of Dill Mill Gayye and I will play the sister of Sid (Karan Wahi).I have come here to for my brother's wedding. My role is very classy and I am a very modern girl who is very careless and doesn't believe in Indian traditions..."
Further, she told us, "I don't know much about my character sketch but in the coming episodes I might have a love story also."
About her experience of working on two shows that were so different from one another she says, "It was a nice experience shooting for different shows like Dill Mill Gayye, which is youth oriented story then Kis Des which was full drama and twist, so it's good that these shows are not similar to each other..."
About the character she identifies with the most she adds, "There is no particular character which I like because all my characters are very close to me as in every character there was variation, which for an actor is very important."
When asked about her other projects, "No I don't believe in doing too many shows as I want to concentrate only on one show while I also have a film offer which I can't tell about now," says Madhura.
Madhura concludes about managing her time,"When you do one story it's not that difficult to follow the time management because is not that hectic..."
