the relevance of current sajan track

What I see in samrat and gunjan is two people who look completely opposite from outside but are so similar inside that both of them can read the other's thoughts in their eyes...samrat for all his arrogant and charming act is the only person to see and appreciate the beauty, talent and the innocence of gunjan...and gunjan for all her timid and scared act was the only girl to say no to the college stud, the only girl who had the courage to become best friends with him and the only girl who truly loves him with all his faults, not in spite of them....

I am writing this post cuz I think a lot of people are questioning the current sajan track..but in my opinion the way they are showing sajan is the same sajan who I fell in love with...I think that the scene where gunjan told samrat that she wanted to get married to him and samrat said that he didn believe in marriage but he loves her more than anything in the world, was one of the most beautiful and heart wrenching sajan scenes ever....beautiful cuz this is the relationship they share, a honest bond with true friendship and unconditional love....

I think that they showed gunjan getting shot because there was no other way they could have resolved this issue in sajan life quickly....I mean that even if gunjan was really hurt she never would have left samrat (cuz for gunjan, samrat means more to her than even her pride and she proved that during the sheena track) and as much as samrat loves her he would have had a hard time giving up all his childhood insecurities....

When the doctors said that gunjan has lost the will to live, it totally made sense to me cuz gunjan for all her strength is the kind of girl who loves samrat with all her heart and soul....so when sam told her he didn believe in marriage, for her that meant that she will lose him for sure one day.. .. when you are in a situations that needs you to fight to get out of it, you need a reason for that fight, a reason not to give up against the overwhelming odds...and for gunjan, she does not have that reason right now....right now waking up means facing more pain and loss....she will get that reason only when samrat tells her that there is a hope for their future.....

From samrat's side, I really don't think that he will propose out of guilt.....i think his refusal to get married was out of his fear that marriage equals heartbreak.....but now for him there is nothing more heart breaking that seeing gunjan die in front of his eyes....he always wanted to spend his life with her but now he will do it the conventional way cuz for him nothing is more imp than gunjan...he doesn feel guilty cuz he refused to marry her, he feels guilty cuz he let his fear of marriage come between them and because of that he let her walk way.... And he is going to propose cuz I think he wont let that fear take her away from him again....

thanx for replying yaashi!...i also love that they are being shown to be more real now....and i know what you are trying to say about gunjan giving up....but what i meant to say was that when gunjan thought that she will lose samrat her first reactions is giving up on life...its not that she is punishing anyones...its just that the willpower to fight a very painful situation like a coma has to come from some kind of a hope of the future....otherwise from what i have seen in patients, they tend to give up...not because they want to but cuz they just cant do it.....gunjan knows that nupur has mayank and her bauji has nupur so she doesn have to worry about them... but she will understand that her samrat has noone else other than her, that he will shatter into pieces if she dies, thats when she will wake up.....not for herself but for him.....
