Pankaj is confident that Shahid has varied acting skills and he will definitely surprise everyone. Pankaj said, Shahid's USP is his dancing skill and fluent diction. For 'Mausam', he required an actor with varied range. He has a gut feeling that his son is going to surprise not just the audience but also him, he added. Pankaj says that Shahid wanted to work with him and the idea was to do something meaty and challenging. But now giving in to pressure, Pankaj has decided to make an appearance in his directorial debut.
