Tu Hi Re II

He watched them both for full fifteen minutes. He watched Heer a little more closely. She seemed to be rushing to get the work done. And from time to time, she would look at the clock.

Prem could tell that she was waiting for him. And knowing her sweet nature, he was sure that the moment Preet had come home, she would have left all her work to make Preet happy.

He watched as a few traces of her long, silky hair its way from behind her ears. Prem longed to feel those traces under his fingers. Though they were officially married, their relationship had never passed the border of friendship. A hug here and there was the only physical contact. Prem always felt this attraction towards her both sexual and emotional. But the thought of hurting her in any such way stopped him from thinking forward.

At times, he would feel amazed by her sweetness. The fact that amazed him the most was that she was super duper patient. She never lost her cool. Even as he saw her today helping her devar out, he could clearly see the calmness she maintain. Yes, she was in a hurry but still, she didn't over react. Her calmness, her patience, and her composure made him want to love her even more.

For the tenth time, Preet saw her looking at the clock.

"Aap baar baar gadhi kyu dekh rahi hai?" Preet asked innocently.

Heer raised her eyes from the papers and looked at Preet.

"Prem abhi atta hi hoga. Aur tumhare chakar me khana bhi nahi bana payi. Abb who ghar aayega aur tujhe cacha chaba jayega." Heer gave him a fake glare.

Preet looked at Prem who had his hands folded across his chest and a serious look at his face. But Preet knew him better. His bhaiya-bhabhi can never get mad at him. They will only scold him sweetly.

"Woh mujhe kuch nahi kar sakte?" Preet said proudly to his bhabhi. Heer gaped at his straight forwardness.

"Accha? Woh kyu?" Her raised her eyebrows and asked.

Preet gave her a sweet smile and sat directly in front of her.

"Aap joh ho mujhe bachane ke liye?" Preet answered sweetly.

Heer felt her heart melt upon after hearing that.

"Aur waise bhi, PB aap ki baat kabhi nahi talte." Preet winked at Heer.

Heer chuckled when he said that. She pulled him into a bear hug and kissed his forehead. As she pulled apart, she handed him her pencil and got up.

"Aab teen hi papers baki hai. Jaldi se khatam kar mai Prem ke liye khana banati hu." Heer said as she placed the rest of the papers into the folder. Her back was still to Prem.

Prem stepped back a little so that she doesn't notice him. But at the same time, he couldn't stop admiring her.

Preet was right. Prem always listens to Heer. Even when he disagrees. Its just the power that he gave her. Whatever she does, she does right.

He was also amazed by her concern for him. First of all, she helped her lazy brother finish the project which he procrastinated on. And then, at 11:00 pm, she was going to make his dinner instead of order something from a restaurant.

He watched her delicate figure leave the room after giving Preet a sweet smile.

The moment he heard the door close, he switched his attention back to his devilish brother.

The moment her sat on his bed across from him, he gently pulled his ear.

"Kyu re? Homework kyu nahi kiya?" Prem showed Preet his fake anger.

"Sorry PB. Galti ho gayi. Phir nahi hogi. Ahhh chodo naa!!" Preet whined softly.

Prem smiled at Preet and let go. Prem watched Preet as he finished his last three pages, put all his stuff into his backpack, and got his things ready for tomorrow's school day.

Lastly, Prem tucked his brother in his bed and gently ran his fingers through his silky hair until he fell asleep. But Preet's eyes remained open. He kept staring at his brother as if he wanted to tell him something but didn't know how to.

"Kya hua beta?" Prem asked his baby brother with a smile.

"Bhiaya. Mujhe aap se kuch poochna hai." Preet said softly.

Hearing Bhiaya from his mouth, Prem knew that he was talking business.

"Kya poochna hai?" Prem asked.

"Aapko'I mean'.Aap Heer bhabhi se pyar karte haina?" Preet asked hesitantly.

Prem was surprised by his sudden question. He was dumbfounded upon being asked that. But after a minute or two, Prem spoke.

"Preet, bahot raat ho chuki hai. Soja." Prem pulled the blanket up to his shoulders and gave him a slight smile.

"Nahi. Mujhe jaan naa hai. Aapko meri kasam." Preet said stubbornly.

Prem was surprised by his behavior. But he knew that one day, his brother would question his and Heer's relationship. Taking a deep breath, he decided to let him know what he had always hid.

"Haan. Mai usse pyar karta hu." Prem confessed.

"Sacha pyar? As in Romeo and Juliet?" Preet had a smile on his face and he was excited to know more.

Prem chuckled. His brother was too cute.

"Haan. Sacha pyar. Aur Romeo-Juliet se bhi kahi zyada." Prem answered honestly.

"Phir batado naa! Woh bahot khush hongi. I know ke aap nahi chat ke aap ke saath bhi Mom-Dad jaisa ho. Lekin un dono ne kabhi sacha pyar hi nahi kiya tha. Aapn ne sacha pyar kiya hai. Aur woh bhi aapse sacha pyar karti hai. Don't you think she deserves your share of love." Preet explained to Prem as if he was his father.

Prem was stunned. Did his brother just give him a lecture on what love was?

Preet saw the expression on his face and knew what his brother was thinking.

"Before you start thinking that I am in love, let me get it cleared. I know all this because I take psychology at school. I learn about how human beings feel in different situations. And the rest came from what you always explained to me when I was little. There!" Preet said after he gave his explanation.

Prem laughed softly at him.

"Thank you sir for the advice. Now go to bed." Prem said.

"First promise that you will confess today and start you love story." Preet held out his hand and gave Prem a determined look. Prem smiled and whole heartedly accepted.

Prem knew that now it was about time. And tonight was just perfect for it. After all, when the clock would strike 12:00 am after an hour, it would officially be his two year wedding anniversary with Heer.

As she slowly closed the door to Preet's room, she decided to get changed quickly into some comfy clothes and then start preparing his dinner. Heer was quick at getting her work done. After knowing Prem and how much he valued time, she knew that she had to quicken up her speed to get work done.

But sometimes rushing also leads to failure. Heer was trying her best to find her night gown but all her attempts were in vein.

As she was going through her closet, she came across a light blue colored, saree. The material of the saree felt like velvet. It was just a plain and simple saree. Nothing special. Something that she would feel very comfortable in. It was surrounded by a thin silver border. That was all. The rest was just plain, blue velvety fabric.

She quickly dressed herself up, pinned her saree in thin pleats on her left shoulder, and took off her long earrings. The only jewelry she had on was her diamond and black bead mangalsutra, and tiny diamond studs that glittered from her second piercing that she had on her ears.

Heer quickly grabbed her clip and rushed downstairs toward the kitchen.

Upon entering, she drowned herself straight into work. Prem had informed her that he might end up a little early or late depending on how his project presentation went. But Heer was sure that Prem would get the deal. Prem Juneja never lost a deal. That was one thing that she could bet her life on.

She placed two pans on the stove and engrossed herself into making rajma chawal for her lovely Prem.

She was so involved in preparing her dinner that she didn't notice when he walked into the kitchen, his eyes targeting her.

After Prem put Preet to sleep, he slowly left the room and headed towards the kitchen. But he stopped at the entrance into the kitchen when his eyes fell on her.

God she looks beautiful. He shamelessly stared at her from behind once again. The way she had the saree draped around her was so sensual. Her perfect figure was clearly visible.

Her hair was held up in a loose pony tail giving a perfect view to the blouse that decently covered her back. But what got his heart to pump at a rapid speed was the way she had he pallu tucked in. Her slender waist was clearly visible to him.

Of all things, he was sure about one. Tonight, he was going to have a difficult time controlling himself.
