Buzz up!
Colors channel is all set to brighten up your afternoons with two new shows Agnipareeksha Jeevan Ki...Ganga and Aise Karo Na Vidaa.
These two shows will be telecast between the time band of 1.30 to 2.30 pm with Agnipareeksha Jeevan Ki...Ganga at 1.30 pm and Aise Na Karo Vidaa at 2.00 pm, as a part of the channel's special afternoon prime time band Saanjhi Dopahar.
While Agnipareeksha Jeevan Ki...Ganga is the story of a sweet natured girl Ganga, who is ostracized by the society and her own stepmother as they believe her to be cursed; Aise Karo Naa Vidaa produced by DJ's Creative Unit is the tale about a young and vivacious girl Reva, whose open nature attracts everyone around her. Her life gets shattered when Prince Randheer gets smitten by Reva and ends up molesting her physically. The story is the journey of Reva who is forced to get into a compromise with the rich family to which the miscreant belongs. Aastha Chaudhary portrays the title character, while Rohit Purohit, Anas Rashid, Jaya Bhattacharya, Lalit Parimoo, Kishore Shahane play important roles.
Speaking about these new programming initiatives, Ashvini Yardi, Head Programming at COLORS said, "Until now, we have managed to dominate the prime time and increase our reach considerably. We wanted to expand the time band for original programming and cater new shows to our afternoon audience, especially the homemakers. After we launched two new prime time shows in Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam and Laagi Tujhse Lagan at the 9-10 PM slot in December, our next aim was to provide the audience with fresher content in the afternoon band. With Saanjhi Dopahar we plan to launch two new shows to make the afternoon viewing more entertaining. Both the shows, Agnipareeksha Jeevan kiā¦Ganga and Aise Karo Naa Vidaa, deal with extremely strong female protagonists faced with complex situations that our viewers will relate to. We hope the audiences enjoy this new offering from our channel."
