Amandeep recalls how her mother once questioned her dislike for Durgawati, believing the character wasn’t entirely wrong. That moment made her realise how strongly the show connects with audiences and how successfully it portrays characters with shades of grey.

Learning From Shubhangi Latkar and Indira Krishna

Off screen, Amandeep draws immense inspiration from her co-actors, especially senior performers Shubhangi Latkar and Indira Krishna. She credits them for shaping her journey not just as an actor, but also as a person. Amandeep shares, “I learn something new from these three women on set every day, they inspire me immensely.”

Talking about Shubhangi Latkar, she describes a bond similar to that of a mother-daughter. She feels comfortable sharing things with her that she may not even discuss with her own mother.
