I don't agree... I like her because she is a great dancer, not for her looks or figure. If that had to be the case, it would be a beauty contest, not a dance show. Terence himself once said during the Season 1 auditions: "Ache looks, good figure aur body ke saath kuch nahi hota! Yahan hone ke liye apko good dance hi chahiye!", and about the story part, everyone on this show has a story, sad or not. Just because sometimes Zee decides to exploits your story for TRPs, or it shows up accidentally like for Kruti or Amar does not make you a bad person compared to the others.

2) Amrita may be a talented dancer but she is annoying as hell to listen to and not very attractive - I just can't get myself to like her

Everyone has a choice. I guess my commenting on yours wouldn't be fair to your freedom of expression. On a personal front though, I like her, again, because she is by far the most trained dancer on the show, and deserving to be in the top 12. It's hardly fair for her to be so good, and not be selected just because she isn't good looking enough or her voice isn't lovelier, both of which I disagree with by the way, because good looks never came from skin color for me!


3) Kruti is just really difficult to look at and I don't see her going very far in this competition

Kruti is THE MOST underrated dancer of the show. Capable of springing magic if allowed to, I repeat once again that I have this one tiny grudge against Terence of not giving her the right performances. I mean if she did a quarter of the couple dances Shakti did, just a quarter even, I doubt anyone would think of that right now. She seriously is a delight to watch for me!


4) Parvez is not the best technical dancer but he's so endearing and funny that it makes me want to always support him

That's pretty obvious, since he's not as trained like some of them are. What I really really like about that guy is his attitude to life and dance. He unashamedly asks others to stand up when he thinks he deserves it, but then humbly requests the audience to vote for him ONLY if they think he deserves to be here. As Geeta Ma said, he's truly an entertainment. Makes you laugh one second, cry the next!


5) Nikitasha looks manly (sorry to be harsh, but it's the truth) - it makes me cringe

6) Jack needs a haircut and a clean-up from that nasty dye job. People won't vote for you if you look like a clown. I know this is not a beauty contest, but people vote for good looking people - it is human nature.

Then people who do are fools. I vote for good dancers. Just voted for Jack yesterday by the way. The reason why I loved Jai Kumar last season too even if Salman won the title. Because when you know you're good, you don't need good looks, or great hindi to win. I seriously find he's hairstyle extremely cute anyway! 😳

Some other observations.

1) It's time for Shashank and Kishore to get kicked out. They are just not that good.

Ahhhhhhh this time round, I can't help but agree. Shashank needs to get out PRONTO!!! I don't think it would be difficult for him now that so many good dancers are pitted against each other. 1-2 rounds more and he won't stand a chance! Kishore, depends on how he continues. I really like him in his solos, even his couple dance with Binny was pretty good last time. If he plans on improving, he can really be the dark horse of this season!

2) Geeta needs to stop whining and being cranky

I agree. But perhaps she's just being protective of her students. It's obvious she loves them. I guess at one point or another, they all will turn very protective! 😆

3) Remo needs to stop getting defensive when one of his kids gives a crappy performance

Can I kiss you for saying this one out loud? 😃😳😃 Seriously, I HATE it when he does that. I want to get into my screen and give him two tight slaps. I don't, don't, don't like that Remo at all. He goes steps down in my respect ladder for him every time he does that. Agreed you need to protect your students, Terence does that too, but not when you've just seen one crap performance from your student. If you want them to improve, scold them, be angry with them, but stop getting them into the wrong impression about themselves for God's sake!

4) Who picks Mithun's clothes? He looks like a clown from some 70s American movie. 😆😆
😆5) Mithun: Please stop trying to speak in English. It's OK if you don't speak English. Just speak in Hindi. It is much better and we all understand you just fine.

Ah that's our DADA! All said and done, we still love him. He keeps getting on our nerves from time to time, but kya karey, let's keep watching chup chap! Especially when I am liking him a bit more this season than last! 😆

i have to completely disagree with you

if you truly watch the show for what its meant for ...DANCE then these physical appearences have no effect on it whatsoever

Agree although she had her story told by her mom once so that makes it equal to Binny/Vandana/Kruthi/Kunwar.

Disagree, Beauty is only skin deep. To each his/her own, she is a very talented woman with great qual's(professor in Fine arts) and coming in and competing with kids way younger than her requires a lot of courage.

3) Kruti is just really difficult to look at and I don't see her going very far in this competition

Disagree, Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. Let the people judge. Kruti is the most underrated classical dancer among the lot.

Disagree about the fact that just because he's so endearing/ funny it makes me want to to support him. Agree that he is a honest and entertaining performer, technicality gets better when polished against a diamond(TL)

Disagree and that's outright rude and yes you are harsh.

Disagree, because sometime you'd be surprised at how sensible the public voting can be. Seems like there is a huge complex on the 'looks', 'face', 'style' - issues perhaps you may need to address.

I don't want to give an answer to any of the points in red.

All that needs to be said is sometimes we need to grow up and get beyond the physical appearance/looks coz you know everyone hits age 40-50 😉 at some point (some later and some sooner) and get the greys 😭 at some point in their life - hopefully no one will cringe 😕 then.

We are all here to enjoy dance, creativity, professionalism, talent and opine as sensible/silly adults😊
