Stand By For Wild Is Cheating ;)

Kayso.
People who are here for Wild Card have work extreamly HARD in order to even get to the top 18 !
and..due to there somewhat lack of danciiing in one preformance they got eliminated.
Now..Standby's just come in for wild card.and if one of them even get selected it will be CHEATING.
becuase..they just come in without any hard work.
so..this is unfair to all the people who have been eliminated while being in the top 18. its kinda there problem them being not getting chosen in the top 18.
um...Ya.
so bringing the Stand by's in Wild Card..is Cheating to the rest DID2 Team.

well.. I dont completely agree with you.. because as stand by contestants they were given every training that the top 18 were given.. so that they are on the same level.. but I guess I see your point that they didn't have to go through elimination and therefore didn't have to go through all the pressure for performance.. But if you think about it, they are the once who would have trained hardest seeing as how there are only 4 spots and so many contestants...
So they were blindly training all these months behind the scenes along with the other contestents -- who by the way also got advertised through TV ,-- hoping that they will get chosen.. and rightly so because if you have seeen the performances from saturday, they were mindblowingly fantastic! especially Amrita nad Jack!!

welll..You're somewhat rite too.
But.
them just comming in is Unfair to the other people because as you said..they didnt go through all the pressure.
but everyone has different Perspective..Lets see what happens ;)

I dont mind them being given a chance... But I dont think they have been training the same way like the top 18.. They have been training for two months, for the same solo and grouop act that they were supposed to perform in the wild card round.. But the eliminated ones have been training for two acts every week - one solo and one group act... And they had to prepare for newer acts for the wild card round... But anyway, if the janta doesnt mind one of the stand-by return, then why not... 😊

I really don't think bringing them by wild-card is cheating. Standy contestants, in most fairness, have always been those who should have been in the Top 18 since the audition days, but since you can take only 18 best, and perhaps their specific dance they showed was a tiny hitch less better, they were not selected. They may be better dancers mind you. Compare Bhavna or Shruti with Amrita. I personally think Amrita way better. Compare Shashank and Jack. For me, there's hardly any comparison at all. Jack's SO good! But he was pitted against Parvez at the auditions, and Terence himself said he couldn't choose. I think it's fair enough they get another chance at being in. It's only so fair to their hard work. I also took Jack and Amrita's example because their respective mentors stated how they've been working hard, even to the extent of helping others selflessly over the two months, as well as preparing night and day for their acts. If they don't deserve to be in, I wonder who does? 😕

I agree with you sneha about Jack and Amrita... There was another reason too... Masters like Terence ended up training all his 12 contestants well and it became quite hard for him to pick just six out of them.. Hence he had to let go Jack, Melvin, Farheena, Altaf and all in the mega audition... In Geeta's case, she should have selected Amrita over Shruti, and I believe GM felt it wasnt fair to Amrita and so gave her a second chance.. And in the WC round, she proved to be better than Shruti and Teena who were part of top 18...

True, am so with you! I am completely glad to see Jack back though. I didn't really like him audition days, and I always wondered why Parvez mentioned so much about him, and why Terence so hesitated to choose between them. But they're professionals and recognize gems even when not in their purest form. DID on Friday and Saturday proved that! 😃 I am really, really glad he's back. 👏

Yeah well, now with the audience, and Amrita being the best amongst girls, I really hope she's back. The problem with voting is, the man who must win never always win, in India's case, I may easily say rarely ever wins. I hope this time round, the DID title goes to someone who should get it, at least in the general opinion of everyone who knows about dancing. 😃

So with ya, sneha... Even I never liked Jack in the auditions and in fact I didnt like either Parvez or Jack to be in top 18!! LOL... I even thought Terence made a mistake, but he proved me wrong!! And Jack too, with the WC round... With Parvez's performances itself I realized how good an eye Terence has when it comes to picking the right ones! The same reason he picked Vandana and not Farheena, I am sure. He trained them all, and he knows who has the caliber to be versatile and pick up another style and do justice to it...

I am so with ya about the deserving one winning... I am praying it will happen this season, and since I have a list of deserving ones, I dont mind any one of them winning... But I would love to see a winner from TKT this time as Terence fully deserves it!! Hope the janta doesnt fall for tricks again and will do the right thing this time...

Every episode we have wild card entry and its not new...and why say its injustice to the other 8 contestant...they are getting training for last 2 months and getting guidance where as these stand by have been sitting and watching the others perform...If the contestants who got out can dance better then them why will we select them in wild card entry...we will select them ...is'nt it......and as we all know few of the stand by performed so good then why snatch the chance from them...

If you think about it...its unfair for the standbys...the others have had that previous exposure and have had that time for them to get a solid fanbase...whereas the standbys just appear out of nowhere...and if they do get a spot...they won't have a strong fanbase when compared to the others who remained in the competition...so they're more vulnerable to be voted out in the weeks to come
