Note: this post is not meant 2 bash any character or couple i m not saying any thing abt d lead pairs here only d concept that has my head reeling
alright lets go back 2 sep 2008 a new show on star one began with a college theme a so refreshing change amidst d endless saas bahu sagas a much need vent 4 d youths who have headaches with their moms being tuned into d daily horrors of a helpless bahu who has a elephantine family 2 handle single handedly saving em from every evil possible on earth
we had a show abt a bunch of youngsters with a college diva who's high end -d typical college B***H - yes a real character , her funny bro & her sidekicks which are there too, her friends beyond this include d college heartthrob - d sports & BB champ of college who's adored by every gal with his own man friday & their lack of interest in studies, this champ also has a diff rapport with d academic champ of d college who keeps mostly 2 himself would rather be with books in a room than fellow humans & some teachers - a few strict , some nice & a canteen that's a must 4 every college
the lives of all these change when 2 gals - 2 sisters & cousins of d diva land up in college from a small town
these gals being a sharp contrast of each other with d mix of calm & wild, sober & energetic , talkative & d listener change d world for these guys forever
d calm 1 ends up with d guy each gal in d college dreams of , even her cousin had a crush on him, d chirpier one ends up with d guy who was a social recluse - yes opposites attract b/w these ppl & HOW !!!!
in both d pairs 2 ppl as diff as chalk & cheese come together & create sheer magic be it d lovable SaJan or d adorable MayUr
now so far so good as these character went thru real things & situations that got em closer be it TP, academic meets, bets, Vday balls, EXAMS ( a thing MJHT CV"s seem 2 have forgotten now ), studies , notes , plays & what not
but now , now cut to 2010 where oh where is MJHT ???? 😕😕😕
seems to have been forgotten & repackaged with d old name & a new content all over that's so not appealing too
yes for a college show that could have had so many layers & issues 2 handle ranging from peer pressure, drug abuse, stress 2 perform, parents hoping things kids dont want , even suicides as it's sadly happening due 2 d cut throat competition we have today 2 d burden kids have today with college studies competitive exams 4 higher studies & even other issues at hand they veer to this
yes leaving all d rest aside, not giving a damn abt exams, studies, lectures , a career & future, these ppl are only thinking of marriage & even kids now that too IN THEIR TEENS!!!
thankfully or horribly now we know that MN , Dia, Uday & adhu are 19 , SG & benji -18 & Suhani - 17
we already have MN married & now it seems pretty much SG will follow course & so will AS
4 MN 2 marry they created a plot that lasted a good 2 months i suppose with them shown married in less than 2 mins 😲 in a need of d hour situation
& now SG are on way in their track which will pretty much last d same time too as per d article
gees this means next we'll have AS to bear for 2 months !!!!!😲
ok back 2 d post now thou d crisis MN have is real of a college goin couple who's married off & have no backing financially but still do things go as smooth in real as shown here MN lived in d college 4 sometime ( now can this actually take place ??? i m not bashing em pls rem just looking 4 some logic ) & now they r PG's at Sam' but does life really have it that easy ?
mayu even landed a job in no time in college while ppl spend months unemployed looking 4 a break
SG are now facing a grave issue yes - i know it can be said things dont go this far in an eve teasing event but lets be real ppl - today even li'l gals face rape, stalkers, & molesters sadly , we have all heard of d infamous The Columbine High School massacre of '99 & The Virginia Tech massacre of 2007 so yes this can happen & i hope they handle this well cause when it comes 2 sensitive tracks d CV' give us sky high hopes endin in drains like Sam Su track that had so much scope with the trauma of kids of a broken family , torn apart for years as context
now not a stalker but an eve teaser & his threat that has landed Gunji in a hospital with a bullet shot thru her heart will build up 4 SG' marriage with a if tomorrow ever comes situation , u know kal ho naa ho
gosh it gives me d creeps to think what will they think of 4 AS? cause as it is Su was jumpin with joy last night as adhu proposed even thou she's only 17 4 pete's sake ( a minor adhu boy u can land up in jail 4 that do u know?)
but what really boggles my mind amidst all this is is this real ???? i mean yes fallin in love has no age bar
but can they pls be real yes girls dream of marriage esp when they find a suitable guy & fall in love with him 2 but does it mean they stop using their heads & just want a walk down the aisle with a diaper dispenser ASAP ?
why cant gals be study & career oriented too ?( Gunji what has gotten into u ?) do the CV's really feel d only aim & purpose of life is 2 marry as soon as u can & procreate too as if its d only & d last thing u have to do in ur life ?
